@@Potatezone I don't know man, the odds of a item in the treasure room being garbash/useless active is bigger than an item being bad in the planetarium. So I would say it's a good strategy to skip the first few items if you are going for the beast.

Flour tortillas are certainly more accessible to wider audiences, there's a reason why corn tortillas have such a strong following. Not only is it traditionally the more "authentic" (depends on how much you value that) tortilla, but when properly warmed up, its flavor perfectly complements rice and beans, which they are most often eaten with.

Corn bread-stuffs always end up feeling dryer to me (even if they aren't actually dry). If I'm not going for hard shell tacos or tortilla chips, flour tortillas every day of the week, but on those things the dry thing works well

If you’re looking for a use for red radishes, you can cut them in half, toss them in a little olive oil with salt and pepper, and roast them in the oven at 450 for 15-20 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes. Makes a delicious snack

also pro tip! on depths one you got the faded polaroid. you can use the faded polaroid to open the door to the mausoleum on the beast path, meaning you can fool card from the mom fight and take the polaroid/negative to the beast fight with you! advice that is super niche and may never help but could be huge if you need to take the polaroid down on a low health blue baby run or something like that.

hey NL, long time mexican here, the culture of corn vs tortilla doesnt really exist that much with exception from a couple of reasons. One could be health reasons, corn tortillas are half the calories of flour tortillas so some people switch over to help lose weight. Another is simply what tastes better cold, sometimes we're lazy and want to make something quick and dont feel like heating up a tortilla on the stove (microwaved tortillas are kinda gross). Each tortilla can be the better option depending on the dish (try birria if you ever see it in an authentic mexican restaurant). So don't feel too bad, I used to be a sole flour eater but lately corn tacos with a thin soft meat hit the spot for me.

You can see red radishes here in bulgarian salads quite often lmao. Some green leaf based salad like a ruccola, lettuce or valeriana salad with cucumbers, fresh garlic and thinly sliced red radishes is the shit

Red Radish juice is pretty good by itself or you can try to ferment them if you have the time or you can make a radish soup with carrot which tastes pretty ok. That's pretty much everything you can do with radish other than using it in salads

I feel the segment at 29:45 very strongly. I'm a very task/goal oriented person and whenever I play a game (or do pretty much anything) I have a specific goal in my mind, be it finishing the corpse as Lazarus or finishing A16 on the Silent for example. It can be fulfilling and fills me with energy when it does but it can really kill my motivation to do other things when I expend all my mental energy trying to accomplish something challenging in a game. Like Ryan says, games can very finely tread the line between play and work which in itself I think is fascinating and dangerous in equal measure. I've dropped many games for good (especially DotA) because they started feeling like having another job and provided no sense of leisure.

dude, do a sandwich on a rye or ciabatta, slice radish thin, and do arugula, radish, spread butter on your bread but don’t heat it (spread like a mustard or a mayo), salt, pepper, and balsamic reduction. best eaten cold. slicing the radish thin is a little tedious but immensely worth it. favorite sandwich of mine from a restaurant i worked at for a while. could also be really good with some micro greens and/or a american hot sauce like a franks or a sweet baby rays.
