NL, since you've gotten The Magician? a few times lately, and Platinum God doesn't have completely accurate descriptions, I just wanna say: The aura from The Magician? is *much* stronger than the one from The Soul, making it very powerful. One of the cards I'd definitely always try to save for the final boss. Now on Tainted Lost it's arguable of course whether that or a Holy Card is better.

Pressing the button does reset the coin thingy. Normally the more waves go by the more coins spawn per wave however pressing the button resets it. Same goes with bosses.

I did a form of polyphasic sleep during my one year of college. I slept four hours at night and then two one hour naps. I worked nightshift custodian from 8pm to 1 am three days a week so it was kind of necessary to take naps during the day anyway because I could never dedicate 8 hours in a row for sleeping due to my required morning class. Not exactly something I'm proud of, I could've found a different job but the nigh shift paid better. Not exactly the extreme case but by definition it was polyphasic and I did it for two whole semesters.

Trying to do the polyphasic sleep schedule without sleeping for longer than an hour at a time is just insane. Polyphasic sleeping where you sleep 2 or 3 times a day for a couple hours can totally work, though most people would just call that staying up too late and taking naps.

So I know no one is asking but there’s a scientific reason to why polyphasic sleep won’t work (at least not in the intervals suggested) in order to feel rested from sleep you need to be asleep for long enough for the cycle of sleep to enter REM phase and come out back into phase 3 of NREM Sleep. This process takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours of sleep to achieve and then you cycle out of it again after that. If you don’t sleep long enough to hit that level then your rest time won’t be effective to relieve your tiredness. So if you’re only sleeping in intervals that barely reach stage 3 NREM sleep then you’re just placing more stress on your brain and not getting the benefits of being asleep.
