To be fair, you have to have a very high [IQ] to understand Northernlion plays The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of 90s/early 2000s Canadian music most of the references will go over the typical viewer's head. There's also Egg's pessimistic outlook on deli lines, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal acquiescense draws heavily from Dan Gheesling's linguistics, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the pop culture knowledge to truly appreciate Alanis Morissette's 1995 magnum opus Jagged Little Pill, to realize that they're not just a collection of songs - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Northerlion plays The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ truly DO need to SIT THEMSELVES- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humor in Egg's existential catchphrase "But I Digress," which itself is a cryptic reference to Men At Work's epic Contraband: The Best of Men at Work. I'm smirking right now just imaging one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Ryab's genius unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have an Egg tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for Malf's eyes only- and even he has to demonstrate that he's not playing as the Body Swapper beforehand. Edit: I'm not sorry for writing this abomination.

What I love about NL is that he is genuinely that forgetful and unobservant. It can make the videos hard to watch without wanting to yell at a screen, but in the end it was honest entertainment and a good laugh once it's all said and done. So thank you NL for keeping us entertained.

Your recent Lilith runs have lead me to attempt playing as her again and I had a Greed mode and Chest path run both steamroll for me in different ways. It was nice to actually get somewhere with her.

Car battery/Battery/Spider Mod on Greed made her amazing. My regular run she just got a ton of damage plus the cancer trinket, plus rubber cement. At a Jera'd Chest she picked up both Cricket's Body and Parasite. Add that to the rubber cement and I just filled the room with shots immediately and killed everyone.

NL, A pinch has a standard just like a teaspoon or cup. They are divisions of teaspoons, you have a tad, dash, pinch, and smidgen. I have seen them used when measuring out culture for cheese making. They go as follows: A tad is  1⁄4 teaspoon, a dash is 1⁄8 teaspoon, a pinch is  1⁄16 teaspoon, and a smidgen is  1⁄32 teaspoon. They aren't really standardized, someone just assigned them actual values in the early 2000's and they have gained popular use in niche applications. Historically though cookbooks have defined a pinch as either 1⁄8 teaspoon or 1⁄24 teaspoon, depending on the cookbook.

All friendly tears get multiplied through Prism, NL. This includes things like Brother Bobby, Little Gish, Level 2 Meat, etc. This can also multiply even more tears from things like multidimensional baby.

Well this sure is a run demonstrating a notable lack of [IQ] even with that solid Jera play on the lucky shop... - Not using Dull Razor at every opportunity after picking up Gimpy on Caves 1 for spirit heart gains, especially with the great amount of luck amassed - Pretty sure he has had Angelic Prism before since it was added in Booster Pack #3, and while it is a good item, skipping over Trisagion (aka Holy Brimstone) was a bit sad - Depths 2: not taking Mom's Purse for extra trinket room (always useful to have) with as much money as he had - Then not taking Mom's Box of Trinkets for +4 damage (and potential of having an additional useful double power trinket next to go with Curved Horn - reminder that Cancer with Mom's Box is -4 tear delay!) - Heck, even Box of Friends for doubled (and more on Boss Rush!) Angelic Prisms would've been a solid pickup. But you know what? Up to this point, it's easy to shrug things off as the usual NL misplays that don't have an overall that big of an effect on the run's success. But then we get to the subject of Tech 2 & Chocolate Milk. There's conflicting info on the wiki on these two: according the Chocolate Milk page, they should synergize to a great effect (Tech 2 deals damage according to your charge level, which in this case would've been 8.08 * 400% * 20% = 6.46 damage per tick at full charge during Boss Rush), while according to Tech 2's own page it's unaffected by Chocolate Milk. Based on the unimpressive damage output of Tech 2 alone in Boss Rush, it does feel like the latter is true. But hey, that's not the end of the world, after all, it is Tech 2 and you still have your normal tears to work with. *Unless you literally just stop shooting with your regular tears.* The tears that could be doing 32 damage per fully charged tear during Boss Rush with the devil card active! Not to mention how much Holy Light action there could be with the really high luck stat! After that, even the usual misplays can't really be shrugged off anymore when they're just compounding this catastrophic failure. Like continuing to ignore the tears and talking about how "orbital is the right choice" on Womb 1. Or thinking that a tears up is good while still not shooting your tears, since tear stat doesn't affect Tech 2 whatsoever as it shoots continuously anyway. At least there finally was a realization in Sheol but good god for over two floors this was physically painful to watch. One of the worst Isaac mistakes indeed.
