in a match 3 game always make sure you can't combo thing above by destroying something underneath, when you do that poop move at 17 min you could have setup a bone move to kill 2 other enemies for free maintaining the two attacking units dead and a wall in front of the left one

The black bar is the next symbol up for the top row for each column. So when you smash, the tiles move down and the top tile in the column becomes the tile in the black row. Edit: Thank Egg he got it.
