I just love and adore u both. I have watched every single episode of both your amazing things you are like best friends, every mother that doesn't have your relationship. I bet they wish they did. Me and my daughter. I call her Beansie, I just talk about u too, we watched episode together, and we just love everything u do! Alex, fixed lawnmores, was so so amazing and your mom re building the stone wall was so so awesome!😂 Refinishing the guest bedroom together, was a treat, my family is from Scotland The hunter family , I have never been there and would love to go someday, it would be so cool to meet u! Hand made wine glasses are made in two parts, it’s how you can tell the difference between modern factory made wine glasses, compared to hand made wine glasses. Only finished watching on KZbin a few months back the making of both plain and elaborate wine glasses as well as brandy glasses. Mom use to add 6 items to the pudding every Christmas. Some of them use to be used to play monopoly as they were about the same size. One year Mom put silver charms into the pudding as family was visiting that year, I still have the small steam train but the ring broke off so it lives in my wallet, has done for 50 years now. Mom had a little pixie she too now lives in my wallet, before that she lived in Moms. For those who missed out on a charm she had 6pence set aside for them. LOL yes it’s a tradition in our family but then I am originally from the Shetland Isle and traditions are followed there. Glad you’re back at the tip, the river is great but I love the tips more as you can find some of the best things there.

My friend in Florida and I in NE Texas watched this video simultaneously while visiting on the phone . This way we could watch it together 😊 We talked about oh wow look what Gail just found (the toothbrush handle) and look at the cool item that Alex just picked up (the red splotchy carnival glass piece). The pudding dolls really are the best finds ever, I love them so much!❤ This year for Christmas my wonderful 82year old Aunt who is also my Godmother gave me 5 tiny porcelain dolls which were given to her mother, my dearest Grandmother, during her bridal shower when she was 18 years old. The ladies at the party played a game with them wherein they made dresses for the dolls with fancy napkins. My grandma had given these tiny dolls, much like pudding dolls except they have a little more detail and painting on the faces are very darling., to my Aunt when she got married. They are about 2inches tall and have the arms down to their sides. They are definitely over a hundred years old because she was married in 1916, she had 7 children and my Dad was the baby. My Grandma B was my favorite person, I miss her so much, I cried my eyes out when I saw the tiny dolls, I love them so much, best present ever❤

Love the little pudding dolls…and I was thinking that quite possibly….that tip of pipe stem (which you said looks like it has teeth impressions) could actually have been someone’s attempt at making their own little pudding doll…it took on the shape of a human figure…anyways…it looked like someone had carved it with a tool…but yes, it certainly could have been teeth marks…Take care!

Pudding dolls were popular 1850 to 1920, it was in America that they were called Frozen Charlotte's and the male version was Charlie. As Christmas pudding doesn't require much chewing, there probably were a lot of pudding dolls swallowed, rather than found, although being ceramic, they'd retain the heat, so burning your mouth or throat might put you off Christmas pudding 😋🔥🙁

Congratulations on the bounty of pudding dolls!!! A banner day! Gail, I have thoughts on how to use the bone toothbrush handle. The first thought I had was to sharpen the narrow end to a narrower point and use it as a bun holder. You could twist that bounty of gorgeous hair that Alex has into a bun or twist then and the push the handle through to hold it. I used to do this with mine til I lost most of my hair to a health problem last year. of course I did it with pens and pencils at my job as a nurse, but if you push through one side of the bun or twist, angling towards the back off the head, then out the other side, it will hold surprisingly well. My second thought was to transform it into an awesome one of a kind pen, either by drilling a hole into it to hold a manufactured pen's innards or attaching a fountain pen nib to it. you could stage that for display with one of the ink holders you have in your collection. I love reusing old for new. Thanks for the videos! keep em coming! I live my life vicariously through you guys and you are my favorite mudlarks!
