Oh my dearest regal Ladies of artisan temperament. There is in both of you a very delicate majesty in the way you produce the most beautiful videos…on top of the artistry you bring to your jewelry. I say this not because I want to schmooze you. There is something very connected in your artistry to your history. I cannot enjoy your trips and traipses across the beautiful country any more than I do. It seems to get my imagination going. Your pieces of jewelry seem scored under a castle or bastion of elegant craftsmanship. History seeps in your pores and we get little saga journeys to a very medieval place and time!!! Thank you so much for filming so well. We are all very much like time-travelers.

Dear Tracie Oliver 👍👌👏 Of course I totally agree. But please don't forget the wonderful story/history telling part in this video. And even before all this, the Ladies showed us their talent and love for mudlarking respectively beachcombing. In this episode Gail H. did even kind of stroke the beach/gravel/sand! 😁 ;-) Best regards, luck and health.

Gail, your talents never cease to amaze me. This was a beautiful piece of creative silver work . The little red piece of red glass smoothed to a lovely circle shape, was a perfect addition. A beautiful story too. Though it was a sad ending. Thanks to both Gail and Alex for another very interesting post x

She’s my 28th Great-grandmother! I have a number of Saints in my family tree, a number that I am directly descended from, including Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, I was thrilled to discover. As a child I had read a book on her life and became fascinated with her, particularly the “miracle of the roses”. She used to give food from the royal kitchens but her husband forbade her. She would sneak bread out hidden in her cloak. One day, after leaving the castle with her maid, carrying bread in her cloak, her husband stopped her and demanded to see what she had. Reluctantly, she opened her cloak. However, instead of bread falling out, hundreds of roses tumbled out. How could a story like that not be amazing? I’m not Catholic but I always considered her my “patron saint”! forty years later when I was doing my family history, I found that she was my 29th Freat-grandfather. Of course, if you go back far enough, we are all related at some point… Still, a but of a thrill!

I was in my early 20's when myself & my family found out we were directly related to a woman who is well known in the U.S. She was captured by the Indians & after a horrible existance living as a slave, she escaped & made her way home . Most of her family were wiped out (the children)in the Indian raid , save her husband . When she returned she reunited with her husband & had several more children . We learned of our relation to her thru an Ivy league university who traced her family line . She was my grandmother 6 generations back... It was a book I had read many times growing up & never dreamed she was my grandmother ...

I knew you ladies were regal but didn't realize that you both are proper princesses! They say everyone is descended from somebody important if one can look far enough back. My family dabbled a bit in genealogy hoping to discover prominent connections. Now we're just thankful to our ancestors for having children before getting hanged or shot. I am excited about your new makers channel and happily subscribed. I think the videos of either of you making something- be it a piece of jewelry or a garden- are my favorites. Please do a Schwoo channel next!
