I am just listening to the new album. Lots of fuzzy dramatic, vulnerable and heartbreaking yet joyful and amazing songs like "whole life", "jason", "describe" listening to nick drake really helps indeed, thank you for the video and the effort, hope you're well!!!

I can’t recall on which cuts atm but there are a few that I could hear the Cocteau Twins or just Elizabeth Fraser with This Mortal Coil. A chord progression or 3 that seemed just about lifted directly from a CTs song. Back ‘when’ it would’ve bugged me, but MH mentions the influence and doesn’t seem to be wanting to hide it. To pretend as though they were his.
