I can’t recall on which cuts atm but there are a few that I could hear the Cocteau Twins or just Elizabeth Fraser with This Mortal Coil. A chord progression or 3 that seemed just about lifted directly from a CTs song. Back ‘when’ it would’ve bugged me, but MH mentions the influence and doesn’t seem to be wanting to hide it. To pretend as though they were his.
