Thank you for the video. I have a 21 rav4 xle push-start and this worked great. As a side note, this can be done when the vehicle is actually turned on and running as well, not just accessory mode

Thanks for the explanation. The Toyota manual says nothing about putting it in the accessory mode by pressing the start button Twix and holding the vehicle sitting down for a few seconds. Your video made it very clear and easy. THANKS!!!!!

So I had an oil change and cabin filter done at Jiffy Lube yesterday for $183 Due to holidays they were really backed up yesterday and it took me about an hour.…and they didn’t reset the maintenance reminder. I called them up and they said search in KZbin….well thank goodness for this video. Easy peasy and saved me a trip back in to JL.

For a 2019 Avalon Hybrid Limited - Press the brake, push the ignition button once and start the engine, then proceed with the procedure that Northern Viking described. Thanks for the help.

This was perfect! I to have a 2019 RAV4, well my wife does lol. The dealer did the 20,000 mile maintenance, and forgot to hit the reset. This is not uncommon as I have a Lexus ES 350 and it seems almost every time the dealer forgets to reset that darn thing. Thank you very much. Have a great Fourth of July.

My comment is that my car did not go into the accessory mode when I press the start button two times. However, when I actually started the car up with my foot on the break, I was able to get to all of my arrows and modes, and reset my maintenance schedule. So it worked but not quite the way you said.

Probably a dumb question, but it resets it to what? For example, my Rav4 is due for its first 5000 mile oil change. After I get the oil changed and reset that, will it then remind me at 10000 miles?

I have a push start 2019 Rav4 that had a maintenance required, call below that showed on Nav screen. Showed a different dealership than where I purchased. I guess where it originally came from. I had 13,000 miles when it came up and dealership said I would have to come in to have reset as I hadn't had maint. done in 6 months is why I got message. Tried the video 3 times and reset, but message still came up. Went into the vehicle setting on nav screen and deleted the dealership information off and it finally left!! What a hassle.

Mine won’t go off…I did this and the message keeps coming back. I’m also getting something that says “warning notification” on my touch screen and it gives me a voice message that simply says your car has a warning notification, would you like to call the dealer (or something to that effect) but the option for “call dealer” stays grayed out.
