Tbh imo the ambience of Solar and the uplifting side of this really lift the album and are as important as the heavier, darker aspects they contrast with

I'm guessing this was about his dad who passed away when he was 19 from a drug overdose. "The soul that suffered sleeps tonight in the ashes of his demons" what a brilliant line. His dad was physically and verbally abusive and a drug addict, and clearly he had problems that he never solved, maybe his childhood was fucked up too I don't know. His soul suffered, and now he's resting in sinful ashes.

I am talking about people in other comments. The vocalist isn't the best, but he's good. The screaming is average in my opinion, but I rather the instruments come to life and be the light more than the screams in my opinion. It's not my favorite album ever, but I like it.

This is such an underrated album!! I keep coming back to this record time and time and time again. Every song is a banger. Every single song has a special element to it that sets it apart from the rest yet they all fit together as a concept. Why doesn't this album get the credit it DESERVES?!!
