I feel like Norma Jean was headed in this type of direction when they came out with the anti mother. Chino from deftones gave it a good sound and vibe.

"Like most of us I was misled into a swarm of noise and distortion. Eroding my deepest thoughts before my inner voice had spoken. To remind me that I'm gifted with the power to dream, to see what has never been seen. But I handed it over, consumed by culture. Cloaking the eyes of the visionary."

At the ending of this song, are they saying "Satan" several times(starting at 3:44)? I don't see it in the lyrics but it def sounds like; just curious.

I don't think people gave node a fair chance that album was amazing.
@Dwesk7 жыл бұрын
I have listened to Node front to back probably around fifty times, and even more to standalone favorites (mostly second half) but this album is just SO MUCH BETTER IN EVERY WAY, this will be on par with Singularity for me.

I loved Discoveries and Singularity.....and I also happen to love Node AND Mesmer, leaning more so towards Mesmer after debating back and forth in my mind but after listening to the album for about a month now I can saw this is better than Node. Also the people who want Adrian please just go somewhere where you appreciate the music and not hate on it... I love the new direction they've gone and I wouldn't change it. It suits my personality with the spiritual-oneness and trippy shit that couldn't be better.

Might be my fave on the new record. I like the post-hardcore elements, I like the structure and progression. I fucking love how Marcus transforms into a weapon of mass destruction half way through. Only complaint is this empty sounding mix! It should be so beefy and fat, poor Nic is drowned out. Love this style though. Nice job boys.
