Hey NOTB, I’ve been meaning to tell you for while, but Crayola makes some neat air dry clay that’s easy to work with. It expands a little when it dries, and sometimes cracks, and moisture can turn it back into a clay, but it’s super light and kinda fun. I’ve been finding great success in using it to pad out thicker bits of sculptures. The two drawbacks is that foil is cheaper by the pound, and the Crayola clay isn’t a suitable armature Either way, it’s great for making a base to wrap clay around! You probably know all this already though, which is why I haven’t seen you use it haha, but still :)
