This type of detective job is the best content in my opinion! Finding the problem, investigating the connected areas, and concluding the exact location. Excellent job! I ordered a power injection tool a week ago and super excited to receive it -- hoping to use it to fix a couple of pokemon games!

I am learning so much from your channel Alex, particularly when you show how to follow the traces/pads to the fault. I have always found this quite difficult before but with your explanations I am finding it a lot easier to follow. Please keep explaining following traces/pads. Thank you for all your fantastic videos.

The things I appreciate most about your videos is the methodology and logic you use. Logic is so rare nowadays and most people just don't seem to know how to think their way through a problem. Your videos clearly show how doing so works and why an immediate emotional response is rarely the proper way to tackle a problem. Thanks again for another great video.

The importance of having a good quality thermal camera. Just a contribution for anyone, sometimes a short doesn't produce enough heat to be detected, in these cases you could try the Kelvin method (4 wire), search for that. Nice job as always. Peace.

Great work I love your vids. I especial love it when you get a troublesome device fixed and you can see that you are genuinely happy with getting it fixed. It reminds me of something my grandpa used to say “you can teach a man a job and he will work for a living. Or the smart man makes something he loves his career and he will never have to work. He will go to play and get paid for it. Which do you chose?”

Just found this channel yesterday, and I haven't stopped watching it! Can't wait for something of mine to break so I can try to search for the issue. I really appreciate that OP repeats things he's surely said in earlier videos (like what type of flux he's using). So please keep that up for us noobs. My question - is there a video that shows an example of how to setup this short circuit search? The way I understand it, is voltage is being injected somewhere and a continuity test is being done. I'm looking for a noob version of this - where to inject the voltage, what to set the multimeter to, etc? In the meantime, I'll keep watching and cheers for this awesome channel!
