I agree, phrase is nothing but combined words just as in ""I hope you learned something by Louis Rossman" The phrase is not invented and it's always been there since the beginning of language. It just references that person because of the constant use compared to all other similar channels on the platform. No big deal and I have no issues. A reference would have been nice rather then "as some would say" by Tronicsfix. I have nothing against Steve. He's a good person and i respect him. It bothered my viewers more then it bothered me. I wasn't aware of any this if it wasn't for the comments and links.
@romeskiie2 жыл бұрын
@@NorthridgeFix True, I would be bothered as well if I made a famous phrase and I use it over and over in my content and then went to other creators and using it as well without any reference to the first one who constantly uses it. But in the end you can't stop the internet, it is the nature of the internet; everybody influences everybody and I would not bother trying to copyright take down any creator imitating what I popularized without any proper credit. It would just make my image look bad as a creator. So, I say, leave them be, you know your worth and you know who was the original. Unless it something tangible like a product of your creation or a patent or a part of your branding, then yes you could potentially strike or sue them for copyright infringement. But other than the phrase which is not that big of a deal, it should be warranted as "Fair use." P.S. Selling merchandise with the "Better than factory" phrase would be kind of nice. Other than that Mr. Alex, you're an inspiration, not just the electronic repairs, but mostly on the motivation side of things. I'm glad 'tubers like you exist in the millennial age.

Someone mentioned this to me on my stream last night about your quote. Personally I only parrot my chat, so if I do say it, I'm simply reading out what my live viewers are saying. That said, and as you've already said in so many words, I don't think it's intended as trying to steal your phrase, it's more a nod of respect from creators who have watched you work. I did notice someone mentioned "someone using the phrase and also mocking low melt solder in the same stream". I can only assume they meant me. I recall talking about low melt recently, but everyone who watches me already knows how I feel about low melt solder, and that I don't feel it's necessary to so the job safely, so that definitely wouldn't have been any malicious intent on my part. Nice way to deal with it though, the Internet will always be the same and its just a few words. Shrug it off and keep doing your thing :)
