I'm interested in upgrading winches, the free-spool speed and pulling numbers would be great to see in action on the trail to really see how much better they are when it counts.

I initially liked the idea of being able to use this with my phone, but since most of the time I would need to use a winch would be in circumstances I would prefer to keep my phone in a safe dry place it seems like kind of a bad idea. Would be interested in a field test of ease of use and connection in real world circumstances.

Agreed. It's definitely a nice option to have, but we're glad Warn still includes a hard wired remote.

Would the new Warn winch fit the FabFours front stubby bumper? How much bigger is it or is it the same size as the older Warn winch??

The new XD is slightly smaller. So if the Zeon fits it, the XD will fit even better.

Most people would prefer to leave a $1500 cell phone 📱 in the cab when working in the mud. Plus now big brother has more than a kill switch for your vehicle, they can shut down remote control of the winch from half a world 🌎 away. Good thing it has a wired one.
