Amazing! I had a big smile on my face watching this one. The whole event looked so well organised with the extra events too. The Berlin marathon is great but its SOO busy as the weekend is shared with the runners, this looked a bit more chill. Congrats completing it in a great time, glad you had fun!!

What a beautiful scene. Great job finishing with a strong time on an unfamiliar setup. A good group of people skate and bike the LA Marathon early before the race starts. Could be a fun thing to consider if you're comfortable skating in lower light conditions (I believe it is mostly well light from street lights but I haven't skated it yet-2022 or 2023 forsure)

I didn't know there was a marathon especially this close to me. I'm just starting out, hopefully soon when this weather gets better. Congrats on completing the marathon! To help prevent cramps, you probably needed to push more electrolytes. My daughter's long distance running coach told her to dilute gatorade with water in half, or some drink like that, and drink it during entire event. That helped her from cramping while long distance running. Should help you in your next marathon! I've never done a skating marathon. I should try it, since it looks like a lot of fun.

My son and I have been training for an 60 mile skate and I don’t leave home without one thing. Electrolit (Electrolyte Beverage). It far surpasses any other electrolyte drink and it is sugar free.
