I really appreciate your videos Jesse. It's great to get an inside look at the EWS, and I feel like my riding improves just by watching and listening to you decipher the best line choices.

My son turned me on to watching your videos, I have been riding since the early 90's and just trip on the skill and nerve you guys possess. Keep the videos coming, and stay safe.

Tried riding that trail last month. I walked down 25% and slid down the rest. Looked so effortless here. Wishing you best of luck tomorrow!

9:44 coming out of the corner got me scared for a second. The shadow looked like you were about to run over some sort of reptile... great riding as always!

Karpiel kicked my ass yesterday. Ended up going arse over tea kettle in one of the burlier sections. Line choice is so important on this trail.

I rode that last summer. I can't believe they went around the hardest part though! Right around 6:00 it goes left around this terrifying rock chute. I made it almost all the way down but lost it on the last move. Hoping that I can do the race there this summer! Or at least ride that track again....

haha maybe just one rock line too many!

Meanwhile I'm standing at the top of Vietnam pondering how I got myself into this predicament while Jesse insists "check up, wide, dududududududu" is the technique

Bit late to the party. What is the speed difference between this run and a full speed race run? Do you ever record you race runs?
@JesseMelamedMTB4 жыл бұрын
I would say race speed is slightly faster but more just about being consistently fast throughout the run. Yea I posted some race stage videos from the Whistler EWS.
