That progression park part of Northstar is awesome! 3 seasons ago that last thick box at the end I busted my chin but was determined to land it. Long story short at the end of the day I managed to land some box & rail features but I always found it intimidating bcuz I never knew how to stabilize my board. But man I wish I could meet you one of these days coming up this season! I will be a lifty at Palisades this Dec - May but if you head up to Palisades again I'll be looking out for that video and hopefully I can get some tips from the pro! Great videos and content as always! I always learn new things while watching your videos and I really appreciate encountering similar people like yourself who's willing to give pointers. 🥂👏

Heck yeah! Finally that season again! time to binge your channel! skipped last season, but going this year to Tahoe next week. When I used to track the snowfall in Tahoe with morning text alerts, Northstar and Kirkwood were always Pouring snow form what I remember. Something about their location. They are the snowgods of Tahoe. Hope y'all get many views this season!

NORTHSTAR has had some legendary park action in recent history like their halfpipes were known to be the best especially when Shaun White and Danny Davis were doing their thing there

Keep in mind the resort village at the bottom of the runs is 6330 feet elevation, 8610 at the summit. If you're not used to high elevations take it real easy, you can tap out real quick.

Yo! How do you just go straight like that. The second I try to go in a straight line I catch an edge like every time. I have to constantly be either on my toes or heels. What am I doing wrong?? BTW Kirkland is great! I've only ever done the easy trails but it's much less crowded than Northstar.

I thinking going straight and flat just comes with practice. At Kirkwood now!

@SnowboardProCamp bummer I was hoping it'd be an easy fix! If you happen to be back in the northern part of Tahoe you guys gotta try spoon. Their food is 10/10.

@@bowjangles510 practice going flat on your board for 3 seconds then slow yourself down like a typical J-turn. make sure your body is stacked over your board so that when your crouch your board is stable and not moving under you. if your board feels like your going to catch an edge that means your not stacked over on your board correctly. also if your using a rocker board, that could be hard also, as the contact patch under your board becomes like a “top” and spins around easily and feel more surfy than it being stable. hope that helps 🤙

I have a question. This will be my first season with a seasons pass. In the past I had only gone skiing once a year. However, in the last year I have picked up skateboarding. On the mountain I mostly want to learn park, things like boxes and rails. I have a pair of racing skis that are not ideal for park. Should I get a snowboard?

Snowboarding is tough to learn but once you do its fun to progress. Skateboarding only helps a bit in terms of learning but park wise it’s similar to skateboarding for sure

I always watch your videos but the number of adverts for this particular video are over the top! Is it just me or was everyone else also forced to watch 2 adverts before the video started and then forced to watch another 2 adverts at 1:02 (without the option of skipping after a few seconds) before any snowboarding had started! What’s the point of even bothering to watch if I’m going to be bombarded with adverts while watching you walk? 🤷‍♂️ Edit: Gave up and lost interest when the third set of adverts started at 04:45 🤦‍♂️, have gone to watch Malcolm Moore snowboard instead
