Northstar Tell No Tales (TNT) Race Run 2024

Probably my worst race run ever. Hit my nuts two times and had a wipeout on the first rockroll. This run was so bad that I didn't even want to post my run on KZbin but it is what it is

That sucks man, but you know what, this happens. Sometimes we go out and we are having a bad day, and, IMO, I think you were riding good but that first crash got in your head and you lost hope. Next time, don't loose hope and keep pushing, that will put your mind in a state where its running at its best.

Thanks man. I was having a pretty rough day during race day haha. Looking back I think I could've done way better only if I fixed my brake after the first crash. I was pretty pissed because I had all my lines dialed, and I somehow still managed to mess up in the most dumb way possible but shit happens lol. I'll be sure to keep pushing next season and I'll be sure to pull up your crib and fix up your line ASAP!

You got a lot of heart kid. A quote that personally helped me was “go fast, but don’t rush”. I used to make it through all the gnarly stuff but then go down on something trivial.

In my final year as a junior, I was putting a ton of pressure on myself to do well. That year I raced at Bootleg and ended up crashing 3 times in my run. The next year I decided to just start racing for fun and enjoy being out there with the boys and my mistakes vanished. I can see you are getting faster with every race run. Keep it up man and enjoy it out there.

Racing is full of its ups and downs, and its defiantly frustrating to go down. But it is a bad look to be throwing gear after a bad race. Take it on the chin and improve for next time. Its all about appearance in a sponsor dominated sport like mountain bike racing.

You're 100% right. I shouldn't have thrown my gear like that. I've never messed up a race run that bad in my life ay I'm still young and still learning. I'll be sure to not give up next time and keep pushing!

@@rohitsengupta979 Trust me you will have plenty of race runs like this. I only put down 2 runs out of 4 at Northstar this year. Shrug this one off and focus on the off season.
