Northwest TD-conversions TDI to Toyota R150f adapter

I always am fond of videos like this, giving me motivation seeing what is ahead! I'm swapping a BHW in my TJ and can't help but notice on the FB tdi swap group when they talk about getting 21 mpg full load towing with a tdi, and I'm just sitting here with the stock 2.5 4 cylinder, stuck at 19 mpg not even towing anything, and have the rear seats removed lol.

Dude, I had an alh in a 1993 eurovan that weighed 5000 lbs and it got 40 mpg, the 1974 bus I did got 30. I bet a jeep will do 30 easy!

Nice seeing a video on this adapter. The flywheel spacer seems a little sketchy at first glance, but the kit looks high quality. I'm ordering one off them for my fj cruiser build

Thanks, and I agree, that spacer does seem sketchy, but it is proven in other builds. The starter is kind of iffy too. Pretty sire its just a Chevy 350 one, wish it used the stock tdi starter like all my other adapters. Does "witebread" make one for your application?

Nice build very informative video..!! How much it’s the adapter kit? I’ve seen the doomsday kit I been thinking to buy one from them.. have you use any adapters from them?
