Why would anyone need a dumbbell when modern GPU's can be used as one. Especially after letting them sag for a while. Kudos for effort, too bad you can't 3D print new reinforced PCB's though.

my GPU sits outside my case upright, on a 3D printed stand with a PCIex16 to PCIex16 high quality extension cable and a power cable extender poking through a hole in the case side door. It pulls cooler ambient temps from the room instead of air in the case which is of higher temp and unless I'm hammering cyberpunk or Modern Warfare the fans are spinning but make very little distraction. It runs 20 degree cooler. If GPU makers cared about our investment in GPU's then they would never be inside a case on top of a buzzing hot circuit board with the total weight of the body hanging downwards and hot air blowing over them.

EDit: ignore bracket part, I see it was a dropped card, poor thing. They are heavy! I'm glad I shelled out extra for this unit at end of 2023. I RMA'd first one due to coil whine, second one is much better, while being slightly worse at UV. Only downside to an amazing card and I usually ALWAYS buy the reference cards from AMD. Both cards do 3GHz+ in real world loads and t-delta is well under 10°c. They also sip power using chill, under 160W at 4k/120 in older titles is hilarious.

Both had fan issues. Then I had a 290, 290X, RX 480, 580 limited edition, 5700 XT, and then I gave up after that. Sapphire just wasn't doing it's job as a company to ensure they used quality fans.
