I'm able to go up a whole @$$ tree on my horse but couldn't bring any horse to her 😅

If it glitches and the girl doesn't get on the horse to complete the mystery, you can unarmed hit it or ram it with your own horse (someone else commented that they did that), and as long as you don't kill the horse, it'll run, the girl will chase it and get on, finishing the mystery with a happy ending that concludes with a Brit yelling at her to bring back his horse. Lol

I ride away with the horse. It ends the mystery also, just with a "COME BACK HERE YOU HORSE THIEF! THIS IS MY HORSE!"-ending

My guess is that the video cuts out before you see the end--the girl is actually a horse thief. As she rides off, a man chases after her calling for her to return his horse :P

I brought her the horse and got the cutscene but never completed the world event and never me anything, I couldn't get back on the horse and take it so I just killed the thing and then she called me a monster and got all pissed but it completed the event and gave me my 1200xp finally... I guess you gotta butcher the horse

You have to quickly move out of the way once you are forced off the horse. I think it glitches because the girl doesn't have room to get onto the horse if you're stood too close.

I did basically the same thing. Didn't do enough damage to kill it, but it's health bar went super low. The horse ran off, the girl chased it, then got on and finished the mystery for me.

PSA: If you've not done this mission yet make sure to save beforehand and quickly move out of the way when you're forced off the horse. Otherwise the quest will glitch, she won't get on the horse and the quest won't end.

I got stuck before reading your comment. What worked for me is that I had to kill the horse, then the quest completed and I got credit for it. The girl didn't like it, though.

Bug solution: If the girl doesn't get on the horse reload a previous save and then make sure you quickly move out of the way once you are forced off the horse.

Turns out my game was just bugged, she just stood there thanking me, looking at the horse, so did I as I had absolutely no idea what to do. I restarted and sat on the horse moved it and then it worked again

If it glitches and you have a previous save just quickly move out of the way when you get off the horse. If she doesn't have room to get onto the horse it glitches.

ahh.. i knew it was a bug.. when i deliver the horse to her she didnt climb it.. so i attack her to see what happen but it hit the horse and died.. completed the quest tho with a regret on my face..
