Just a perfect watch pocket knife yet strong and sturdy enough to do most edc chores as needed. I do wish that GEC will begin leave some heat treatments on their knives as per the old Northwoods line. Like you I think many folks would enjoy that little feature on their knives. I am still reeling from the knives you sent Joe and am enjoying them all, thanks again.

I really like the heat treat scale as well. The 25 is a great little pattern for sure! Im glad you like the knives, thats awesome!

If you havent, check out the Finch 1929, it at first looks like a traditional Barlow... then you notice the flipper and the lock...its a really intresting piece.

I like the idea of comparing GEC knives to other GEC knives. For the simple reason it makes it easier to decide what knife you might look to buy when you get the opportunity to buy one. When you compare other knives to GEC models more often than not the results are the same as always. People pay more to own GEC knives for the increase in value they seem to have. You certainly don’t need a GEC knife to open boxes and cut a sandwich in half or peel apples do you.

I always try to show at least one non GEC size comparison for the folks that don't have a GEC. If one were to save up for a GEC I don't think they would be disappointed 👍
