So, the TP613 should not be a place holder. These were in fact the torpedoes we had back then, along with their predecessor TP612. But what this game does not show is that the two upper most torpedo tubes were used for a pair of Mark 37 Mod 1 torpedoes meant for ASW self defense (Might have been Mod 2 in the late 80's / early 90's but I am not sure). Also, the model of the Kobben class, whilst impressive, the forward depth rudders was housed in the casing. One rudder was used for up angle, and the other was for down angle. In the game both are shown as out all the time (like other subs with rudders in the sail), but in reality only one was out at a time. Either out on the starboard side for down angle, or out on the port side for up angle. When the boat was trimmed properly, the need for these rudders was minimal. Having sailed on both the Kobben boats and the newer Ula Class I am really looking forward to play with these Norwegian units on release! Sure hope they add a Ula Model at some point!

Except we have never had coastal missile batteries, and have never needed to as the missile boats filled the exact same role. Given the mountains and fjords making up Norway's coast, moving a missile battery, necessarily by road, would be a pain in the ass, with next to no operational mobility. The missile boats however could move about at will, using the countless inlets and waterways to mask their movement and respond at a moment's notice to surprise and ambush enemy formations

9:00 The Kashins were specifically designed as air-defense/secondarily ASW fleet escort type ships, in the late 1950s/early 1960s so they don't have built-in helicopter capability, and aside from the lack of CIWS they're probably better antiair ships than a Kanin on account of having two Volna/Goa SAM launchers instead of one, as well as longer range flak weapons. The Kanins on the other hand were originally built as the first Soviet dedicated guided-missile destroyers, armed with the SS-N-1 Scrubber missile. This turned out to be a bit of a disappointment in service, so they were converted to general purpose ASW/AAW ships with a Volna SAM in place of the aft missile launcher and additional 57mm AA guns and RBUs in place of the forward missile launcher, as well as much increased ASW torpedo armament and a helipad so they could at least provide forward basing (refuelling and rearming) for ASW helicopters despite lacking a hangar. As refitted they were classed as ASW ships by the Soviet Navy, so that's probably why the game does the same. Later refits of the Kashins (which appear not to be in game) were fitted with more helicopter capability, CIWS and also a light antiship missile battery of four SS-N-2 Styx SSMs.

Its getting quite old seeing you making the same mistakes over and over again in all your videos. Youre using way too much fast forwarding, preventing you from responding in time. You constantly blame the AI for not acting properly as if theyre supposed to do the strategic thinking for you. You leave them without proper orders most of the time, and on the rare occasion that you do set them up your orders are arbitrary kneejerk decisions after youre already under attack which are too little too late You spend half the time in confusion looking at the ships statcards and drawing random things on the map without even taking the time to observe and make decisions with that information. You should take it slower, maybe then you wont get your ass handed to you in every single scenario
