Thank you the montage, it’s so nice to just enjoy the pictures without hearing a bunch of fluff. Great images! Spot on music choice. I could watch something like that for hours.

Stunning photos, really loved to see these "slideshow". I also love Norway and we are regularly traveling above the artic circle. So my hard drive is also full of analog pictures from our travels there. See your images. stunning scenes and daily "holiday" pictures make me want to go there again as soon as possible. Enjoy your trip and have a good time!

Brilliant photos. All the photos from every camera look superb, which is how you know it’s the eye that excels here, not just the gear. Subbed. I really enjoyed watching!

Incredible photos! I particularly liked the shots off the M6 It's interesting, there has been a lot of chat on Threads how creators on KZbin want to create more content on composition, lighting or technique but (in spite of people asking for them) they just don't do as well. People are absolutely obsessed with gear and it's so refreshing to see you and others continue to publish these kind of videos Have a great trip!

Yeah, I really want to find a way to do more on location stuff, even for new gear videos. Otherwise just posting photos often sadly don’t get much reach in comparison :/

This Video will be extra exciting for me. I am German, but my wife is Norwegian and we are living in Norway now with our kids. Awesome to see your beautiful images and I didn't know you got Norwegian Heritage. That's super cool! Edit: the only known place I spotted was Trondheim. That's where I lived for some time :)

Incredible photos, Benj. I always forget how nordic countries don't have many trees and it makes the whole landscape feel very real, like a lack of clothes. You captured it brilliantly.

Thanks dude! Yeah, the north is pretty bleak in that way, the southern part does though. Flying into Oslo yesterday felt exactly like flying into Seattle or Portland though. Was actually pretty wild.

Fantastic shots, you really captured the Norwegian "vibe" and light outside of the standard midsummer tourist-style shots of fjords and the midwinter shots like the Northern lights. I see you went to both Trondheim and Bergen as well as the North- both stunning cities!

Benj, Our dad’s parent s also emigrated to the U.S. from a small village north of the arctic circle. I haven’t gone back but some sibs and relatives have. Your photos are very moving…felt like i was able to get a feel for that deeply still, harsh but beautiful country and culture. Easy to see where Norskies get their quiet resolve. Thanks for sharing these. Craig

What a video to start the morning with. You really captured a sense of home here with the images but also sound design. It feels like Norway is calling me back, and I've never been. Now I'm super calm and focused. Maybe I should get off KZbin after this to keep the good vibe going. 😂 Great video and awesome images! Sometimes I forget that film actually looks pretty neutral and natural most of the time. ✨ Time to check flights to Norway.

My first time to Iceland was a few years back. I had recently purchased a used M3, it came from a seller in Hong Kong and arrived a few days prior to the trip. Like many first-time rangefinder users, I may have gotten excited to take a shot a few too many times. Pulled the cam out the bag, took the shot, put it back in. I laughed so hard at myself when I got the roll back and there was about 14 images out of 36 on one of the rolls 🤣 My lens cap game was weak. Luckily I didn't send the rolls in to get processed till a few months after my return from the trip. So I don't even remember what I failed to photograph. I just thought it was hilarious. So many blank spots on the developed roll.

Lovely photos. Beautiful "Andøy", directly translated to "Duck island" is the 10th largest island in Norway, situated just north of the Lofoten islands. While Lofoten has been the more popular destination to visit, it's becoming increasingly more expensive and over populated compared to the islands to the north. The photographs of the rock formation that at the beginning of the video that looks like someone holding up a ✌️ is called "sisters". Much love

Fantastic video. I myself also own a Leica M6 and a Hasselblad 500 c/m. I have one question though: How do you meter your photos or don’t you meter at all and go by eye, experience, sunny 16,…? Your exposures seem to be all spot-on and are absolutely stunning. I use a Pentax Spot-Meter for the correct exposure.

I believe I brought a ThinkTank that doubled as a spot for clothes and then an ONA Brixton for actually going out and taking photos. I rarely carried all three cameras at the same time. Usually just had a bag in the car or in the room on the Hurtigruten.
