Fun fact about the 2nd location, it was used for exterior shots of Norwegian kids show "Sesam Stasjon", our version of Sesame Street.

Man, as a Norwegian I gotta say, your pronunciations are on point. 07:23 is an automatic tollbooth (yeah, we only have automatic tollbooths in Norway, been like that for 3 decades now)

I agree ! Gettin' good with the pronunciations ! 😀👍

The Røros station was an easy find if you had known about the church on the hill.

Enjoyed this video as well as your other Norway-videos. Work in the railways (on my 19th year now), so this was familiar sights. ;)

Thanks for watching my videos! Do you work on VY?
@CodexInvictus14 сағат бұрын
@@alloverthemap23 I used to work in NSB (what VY was named before), but now I work in a different field in the railroads. Traffic controller. ;)

T-Sign = Metro Sykkel = Bicycle Røros would be pretty easy for most Norwegians because of the church being fairly known. Though it probably looks better during winter :)

16:30, Building labeled Røros Samvirkelag is right in front of you. It was frustrating to notice it myself, and then hoping you would zoom into it. This feels more important than it is :)

Funny and a bit frustrating to watch when you see the correct name on the map, but you obviously don't focus there. Røros would be a hard one for sure. I guess a lot of clues can be gotten from the general nature and size of the places.

i loved this video. even i would struggle on this even though i take the train quite often. mostly on the west coast but sometime i ride into oslo for fun. love the food you get in the dining car or train kafe as i like to call it. oh and free hot chocolate/coffee machines at the end of each train car.
@alloverthemap23Күн бұрын
FREE HOT CHOCOLATE??? I'm coming to Norway. haha

I've taken the train between Drammen and Oslo a few times. I've also taken the express train to the airport. The express train was super quiet and buttery smooth. I love it In the US, I've taken the Amtrak from Chicago to Detroit and also the Chicago and NYC metros.

That camera ia a automatic toll station.

There's someone to take your money everywhere except for the free hot chocolate on the trains!

Fun game. You should do another game in the same map because the random number generator chose so many rounds near to each other :)
@DonanzadorКүн бұрын
Tricky game for me as well. First round I think might have been slightly misplaced, which is rare for official google coverage. Missed one point there as well. Second, third and fifth rounds were a lot easier, but then fourth round tripped me again. Couldn't find any suitable location, so ended up having to guess in some small town near Oslo. Ended up with about 21.3k score.

Good game

The fourth one, Røros, might be a bit unfair for non Norwegian players. I don't know how many non Norwegians would regocnize the church which is a very familiar building in Norway. The last one is another location very close to where I live. In fact the second one is too :)
@DonanzadorКүн бұрын
Certainly for me as a Finn it was difficult. Didn't recognize that church, and just couldn't find anything that matched with that location.
@oh2mp23 сағат бұрын
@@Donanzador for me as a Finn it was the easiest round. Røros is in my "bucket list" but I haven't been there yet. Fun trivia: There are only two old wooden towns in Nordics that haven't ever destroyed in a great fire. Røros in Norway and Kristiinankaupunki/Kristinestad in Finland.

Norwegian here. Love your videos. Here's how to say æ, ø and å The first vowel in these English words sound the same æ as in ant ø as in done , Dundee å as in auger , awesome aa is also an å as you might know from Haaland ;)

The title of the game is misleading, since it's basically Oslo local train stations. But nice game anyways! Edit: And then I saw you commenting exactly that in the last minute :D

Whatching from Hønefoss ! Shouting at the screen.. You need to slow down a little bit and actually read stuff on the map ;) Lørenskog, Grefsen and Kalbakken litterary in the middle of the screen with big letters several times. The church in Røros is uniqe and a known landmark for most Norskees.
