Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this KZbin channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :) #aviation

That was just a regular 737 NG, the Max is still grounded worldwide but they use the safety cards interchangeably. Can tell by the winglets on the ends of the wings. Max has them up and down at the same time.

I did the same thing. Was already boarded on a flight, the flight attendant was giving their safety speech and holding the safety card, and all I saw was MAX on it. I started to really stress and it was too late to get off! Then 15 minutes later I realized it's the same safety card for both planes, her hand was just covering the other name. Whew!

I used to work for Norwegian based out of NY JFK. The cabin chief in this video was my training mate and coworker. ❤ Flying premium was the best way for a long flight such as this one and I always recommended it to my super tall and super tired economy passengers. Norwegian listened to the demand and expanded the premium cabin. I hope Norwegian will recover soon once the pandemic is under control. Speaking as a American former cabin crew, I must say that Norwegian Air was a great airline to work for and be proud of. Thank you for your review, guys! Fly safely! 🙏

Good stuff! But to help reassure you guys, you were NOT on a 737 MAX 8 (they're all grounded still). You can tell because the winglet is different (MAX8 has the split winglet). It looks like Norwegian uses the same safety cards for their 737-800s and their 737 MAX8 since the cabin layouts and exits are the same, which may have led to the confusion (Southwest did that as well).

I adore travel. Often finding deals for family & friends. I've been up at all hours grabbing deals. Closing/clearing cookies on browsers, incognito windows, etc. It's a sad game but I do love the challenge. TIP: It's worth a Costco membership alone just for car rentals. We've saved hundreds, always checking back for price drops - always! If you're an Executive member, you'll get a little kick back too. Have yet to try them for car's outside the USA. Question - are you able to reduce your Air B&B fee's such as doing cleaning, etc.?

If your paying to much for flights I've heard of this thing called fare drop, it's pretty cool.

Haha Fare drop is theirs 😉
@Andy_M986
@Andy_M986 4 жыл бұрын
I unsubscribed from Fare Drop, because they send fares via text, but there is no direct link to those fares, once you log in, you have to enter all the details from that text fare, and wait, very misleading.

Ibai Alberdi It’s actually premium economy, not business. That’s why it’s not nearly as expensive. Business class seats are lie-flat.

You'll probably never see this, but I've heard using a VPN and routing your internet from a different country can also save you a heck of a lot of money on flights. I'd love to know if that's really a thing, but I wouldn't be surprised.

The same thing happened to me, but with Hurtigruten. I was booking my trip to Antarctica and accidentally would up on the site for Hurtigruten out of the UK. It was shocking to see that the same trip was $2000 cheaper on that site then it was on the US Hurtigruten site. Snapped that one right up.

Hope you guys had a nice trip! Some tickets at Norwegian can be dirty cheap. I paid around 330$ last time I went to the US from Oslo. 150$ to get to LV and 180$ from LA back to Oslo :)
