Trust me l guides there are amazing and very friendly. For example, my guide was a very wealthy supreme court lawyer, and the son of the royal police chief. But he was an amazing and humble person who was a guide not for the money, but for the love of his country. So toby if you're reading this, you're amazing

I hiked the bumdra trek last summer ...it was the best part of the trip. Sleeping 4000m up on the mountain was simply magical✨. Anyone who goes to Bhutan I would highly recommend taking the detour to get to the famous Tigers nest, its just so worth it!!

In Bhutan other than 1 subject Dzongkha (which is the national language) rest subjects are all taught in English. So you would expect a basic English from those Ppl who have attended schools.

I did this a few months back. To beat the tourists I woke up at 4am and went there at 5am. Me and my guide ran up the mountain taking almost no break except for a much needed tea break. We reached from the bottom to the top in under an hour and a quarter hrs, including the break. Towards the end it gets much simpler, as there are steps. But definitely taktsang hike was the highlight of my Bhutan trip, I was the first at the monastery. And it was beautiful. The guide said that it was his fastest time up I was 15 at the time, I'm 16 now

Bhutan ... where silence talks thousand words , most peaceful and happiest place I ever been to ,, this vlog gave me real nostalgia but how I missed that camp site hike I don’t know , the tiger nest hike twice already .... I think the hike gives some real pulmonary exercises , first time I been all alone to tiger nest I reached at 8.30 am , starting at 6am , surprised the Bhutan police at the monastery door ... remember opening the door of monastery that morning it was so unreal an experience ... and those that dog my only companion ..2nd time 11 dogs accompanied me n my friend to the monastery .... such a beautiful vlog from u guys....
