Hello, My name is Giordanna. I am a Brazilian with Italian citizenship. I am a trained journalist with experience. I have been accepted into the Master's program in Media Practices at Volda University in Norway and, in Germany, at Bremen University. I have enough funds to support myself for six months without a job. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, though I do not speak Norwegian or German yet but plan to learn. My study period is from 8 AM to 3 PM. I am willing to work at night, on weekends, and in any job that pays enough to support myself in Norway/ Germany In which country can I find more job opportunities, since I count on that to continue studying?

There are no more jobs in Germany than in Norway - quite the opposite. Norway probably has more vacancies as a percentage of the population than any other country in Europe. We have more than 100,000 vacancies - probably even more with the right education.
@LEESAS
@LEESAS 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right Norway has more openings to number of population but if you look at the opening suitable for International Students who only speak English, Germany clearly wins with all those big automobile industry.

@@LEESAS I'm sorry, you're probably wrong again. In fact, not many people in Germany choose English as a second language and there is no English in the car factories - certainly not. In Norway, 95% of the population speaks English - we have a large oil industry and high teck industry, where all international companies are represented and the working language is also English.

@@lpdude2005 I do not agree with you here. I have seen how my friends with technical background was getting rejected just because they were not speaking Norwegian. It was wasy for them to get a job after they moved to Germany. It depends on personal experience as well, it not about being right or wrong.

I became a German citizen, I am still searching for a job in Norway from Germany which is getting really difficult. Can I go to Oslo and stay there and search for a job?. If yes, will the government support me?
@LEESAS
@LEESAS Жыл бұрын
You can come to Oslo and search for job. I do not think government will do anything as you have not been paying tax in Norway.

I am not sure about seasonal visa. You can check www.udi.no. There has been lot scams regarding seasonal visa of Norway in country like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan. Make sure that it is genuine visa.

There is only one MBA program in Norway and it does not have that much charm in the job market. If you do not speak Norwegian fluently, you will struggle to find a job in a non technical field.
