Wow. Thank you for a beautiful insight regarding OSLO. It's really interesting to see the different building styles architecture designs and how clean the city centre is. Thank you for posting this awesome video. I would love to visit Norway in the future as my ancestry line is from there. Greetings from South Africa.

I stayed in Oslo over 10 years ago and the shops were closed on Sunday. I struggled to find a restaurant that was open in the middle of January. So dinner was crisps and hot dogs were the order of the day.

This video is quite interesting to be seen, as it shows you around how the city looks like. I love the fact that streets are so peaceful. I wonder how it is like during the week. I love the architecture here too, but I notice there are much more buildings here than there are in Sweden from previous videos of your. Do people either understand or speak Swedish in Norway?. I'm looking forward to watching more videos of your soon.

@Marcus Olofzon Hey!. Thank you so much for the information!. It's always good to know about the culture in other countries. Thanks again!.

@Ted Cipher Hey!. Oh.. that's nice!. I see!. Well, I always love to look at architecture in each country I visit, so I guess it depends on your own taste or just what you consider as interesting though. I find all those historical information quite useful provided I have the chance to visit Oslo ( I have never been there before) On the other hand, I also find Oslo very similar to both Copenhagen and Stockholm, yet I guess each place has its own beauty. Despite all these things mentioned here above, I'm looking forward to visiting Scandinavia owing to the fact I'm a person who loves being outdoors and such beautiful green places, thus are worth a visit. Oh.... and I just want to try out Norwegian beer, even though it might not taste that well lol 😂. Thanks again for all this piece of information!.
@nicolas12483 жыл бұрын
@Ted Cipher I see!. Yes, sure!. It all depends what kind of beer you like the most whatsoever. I really like drinking beer, particularly when at Christmas or even in the weekend. Although, I just prefer a high quality Scottish whiskey during wintertime lol 😂. To be fair, I love both old and modern stuff.... I really like both German ( blond beer), as well as, Belgian beer ( all of them), though I find Mexican beer quite tasty too, particularly the "Sol" beer and the "Corona" beer. They're stupidly expensive here too, especially those which are not from here ( Argentina....the place where I'm from). I strongly recommend you trying out the Isenbeck beer if you ever have the chance to visit Argentina ( I believe it's originally brewed here). Hopefully, you will find it quite tasty as well. In addition, I think beer remains to be, however, very pricey worldwide.

Nice video, thanks for sharing! Christian IV was actually a Danish king. Interesting Nordic connection trivia is that one of his predecessors; Christian II is famous of being the initiator of Stockholm Bloodbath in Gamla Stan in 1523. Another interesting story is the “Sankt Göran and draken” statue in Gamla Stan where the dragon supposedly represents another Danish King, Christian I.

I like Oslo, but tbh I prefer Stockholm so much more. Stockholm is more home welcomed in a way, Oslo gives a bit cold feeling, bcuz of the buildings I guess. Not enough nature like trees, parks as it is in Stockholm. It feels warm in Sweden, never been in Norway yet, but this is how I feel when I compare both places by only watching these videos and ofc my last stay in Sweden ^^
@letswalkaroundstockholm3 жыл бұрын
Yes same haha. Stockholm is better.

For the comment that I can't read but had notification about, I want to say that Im not saying I know Oslo by watching 2 videos of short walk. Im not saying that I know Stockholm better or at all. Im just expressing how I feel watching the videos. And bcuz I have been to Sweden /even for very short time/, I can say that I truly love Sweden with all my heart. If I visit Oslo or anywhere in Norway, I am sure I would love Norway a lot. I do like and I am impressed of Norway - the most stable and independent country I know. Non eu member which is perfect for the norwegians. So, I am commenting with good intentions. I am a great fan of Scandinavia and North, so I do respect and love everyth about it. ^^

Nordic cities are so grey, boring and depressing, the weather are generally awful for most parts of the year. No idea why anyone would wanna live there if it wasn't for the generous public welfare and benefit system. Spent a month in Stockholm around this time last year, almost didn't make it through... died a little inside each day.
@letswalkaroundstockholm3 жыл бұрын
Haha I completely disagree. It is fantastic weather april to september with hardly any rain/wind and it has beautiful snow from January onwards. You just picked the wrong month 😄
