An everyday conversation in Norwegian, with English subtitles. I know it sounds fast. Just hit pause ;)
english translation:
Then we start
So, how was your day?
My day has been super!
What did you do?
I've been to work with all of the little kids. We baked some saffron buns.
Wow.
yes. Very nice. What have you done today Karin?
I've also been to work! I've made a christmastree!
DId you make a christmastree?

Did you do good also?
I was very good!
Thats very good!
And i didnt need to go outside! Cause the weather was so horrible!
Yes yes, Me too, i didnt need to go outside either!
Oh so lovely.
Yes so fantastic!
yes...
Ja.
Video responce is so cool! Hey all Norwegian learners!
The language I'm teaching is not Bokmål nor Nynorsk. It's an east dialect and I don't think you will have much problem with bokmål after this. :) And everyone will understand this.
I am Norwegian, from Norway. Born and raised. I live in Oslo, with my husband and son.

A few months ago, I started learning Norwegian on Duolingo. Many people say it’s a bad app but after listening to this, I realize the app is actually very good! I just started so I didn’t understand everything you said but I understood simple words like så, barna, ha/har, god, etc. it’s not much but it was enough for me to know how good Duolingo is.

Duolingo isn't bad at all! It might not work for some but for quite alot of people (including me and you) it can help so much, I have also been learning Norwegian on Duolingo, and even though it does work, I also watch Norwegian movies and stuff to try and make my learning process more 'complete' you might wanna try it too if you aren't already doing it ahah, I wish you good luck on your journey to learn Norwegian :D

It's a bit easier with subtitles and more useful than without them, like in the former video. Maybe u can add subtitles here, as well? This kind of videos, conversations and your short stories, are the most useful learning tool I've found on youtube. Congratulations, u're great! Maybe only if u can speak a little slower, but not too slow nor as fast as here..? And after that u can repeat the story as it sounds in normal/usual speed. With both norwegian and english subtitles, of course :) Thank you

In Norway we have english as an obligatory language to learn in school, just to make sure our society can work :3 In a week, we use regularily 2-4 hours to learn english. Thats why we norwegian also know english. We also have to choose a language from 8th class, which is usually : French, german, spanis, norwegian for extra specialization and english.

Takk Crienexcy!
