Definitely my biggest Norwegian habit was cooking ( which I learned there😂) and ofc the appropriate clothing for appropriate weather. I'm also a big one on practical clothing and in my closet I only have 4 pairs of shirts and trousers and 2 Hats. Enough and useful. Best thing Norway can give the world is clean water and low pollution ( all forms).

Thankyou Anna - Another great video. I am fortunate enough to live in Sydney Australia. Most of our drinking water comes from sandstone based catchment areas - so it's very good. The same can't be said for most of the other Australian major cities, but they are all safe to drink and many house holds use filters to remove chlorine and fluoride treatments. Bottle water is still popular also. Recycling is wide spread and most people are highly conscious of their environmental footprint.

haha, I love the Nordics for not having small talk xD As we moved in a neighbour was straight away asking my friend "Do you not have your drivers licence that long?" He meant it very neutrally haha. He added "I saw you were driving poorly above that hilly entrance" haha :D But another neighbour was curious where we come from. But it's a different thing being a neighbour I gues. And on fridays almost always, drunken finns will start talking to us and even though we don't understand as much finish, they do not give up ^^

10:16 Small talk... It is done here in South Africa, but it can depend on the location - In big cities, people are usually in a big rush or are irritated from stress, so it doesn't happen often. Sometimes in a mall if you find a small vendor, you might get some small talk there even though it is a city. In small towns however, you will get it more often because you tend to form many connections with people in locations your favorite stores and coffee shops. So it is basically in stores and places that either have a low flow of people or where you visit most often (yet you will still have some exceptions).

Hi there, I am from Germany and the topic of small talk is a really confusing one for me tbh. (Note: I am not a very social person in general) I for myself don't like small talk with strangers, bc. I don't see the idea of talking to random people abt. nothing if I could do sth. else, that would probably be more fun/productive. So in Germany we have so called "Bundesländer", which are I guess likes states of the US (just trying to find something comparable :D), and in every of those states it's different like I personally experienced it. I grew up in the South, where it is kind of normal to be in a neutral to bad mood and if anyone talks to you or ask a stranger a question they *being annoyed is normal*. I also have relatives in the West of Germany, where small talk is a completely other situation. You just start conversing with random people and they are 80% friendly and like always in a good mood. Folks there are just so helpful and friendly, I literally feel the difference in general stress in my ever day life when I am on a visit in the West and when I am back to the South. Sadly I don't know much about the other states so I won't make assumptions. (So to anyone who might want to visit Germany: think twice to which part you go beforehand!)

Move to Glasgow, Carlisle, or Manchester, much closer to some pretty hills. Why in the hell Bristol, it's flat as F... there :D And in the North West, the most wet part of England, you'd still get 10 days less of rain a month than you would in Norway - not that bad :) Although, small talk about the weather happens here too, still... :D

6:45 According to the last doctor I visited, I have what he called 'a Hyper Overactive Metabolism', so I actually don't need to exercise and watch what I eat to stay thin^^ I recently started self-defense classes and have rapidly gained muscle (no gym supplements!). I am also naturally more flexible than the average person. All I normally do food-wise is cut fats like butter and margerine out, cut fat off meat after it is cooked, no tea!, and limit the amount of chocolates that I eat. I also drink a lot of coffee. That's it for the physical part. For the mental part I study a lot and also make sure I find things to laugh about. I need to laugh properly atleast once a day:)

@@Blazethecat-nt7rl Normally if you are flying via somwhere the fare is a lot less than it would be if you were to pay for each flight separately. For example if you are flying from New York to London and then on to Paris, the London-Paris flight costs hardly anything. Anyway just try out various routings on airlines' websites and see how it works out. Whatever you do I hope you have a good time.
