Aww, Wesley. To see you eat a childhood treat attributed to your Father.❤ My husband is 100% Norwegian but was raised in the US. Unfortunately, there were no family recipes handed down. These look delicious, though. Will definitely try them. I loved Wesley's rating, this recipe was very close to his heart. ❤

@@HowToFeedaLoon I made a batch for us this morning and they were fabulous! I used a little bit more sugar because I like them on the sweeter side. My wife didn’t travel with me, but I got to share some of the wonderful Norwegian food I experienced.

Norwegian here with a mom that went to "husmorskolen"(House wife school in the 60`s). Grown up on Pannekaker and a lot of fish meals. First of all, good job! They do look like Pannekaker! I would cook each side a bit more evenly, a bit more of that maillard reaction on each side? We did use to put a lot of sugar on the Pannekake in the old days, but the most common condiments are indeed blueberry jam, brown cheese, sour creme and bacon. Not all at once. :P You would typically either go sweet or savory. And by the way, most of us still just eat it whole. Take care. :)

I'm 41% Norsk and 14% Svensk and LOVE pannekaker! Married a Norsk Viking, born and raised, so do a lot of baking. Lived in both countries for a total of eleven years. Do you make boller and looper as well?

Just curious, how many grams is a stick of butter? Here in Australia, you can either get 250 grams or 500 grams.
