I'm glad you are putting out info about this ahead of time. I went on the Pearl several years ago and didn't find out about a group that was taking up most of the cabins on the ship and we were lucky that it was not keeping us from enjoying our cruise. Would be nice if NCL would put more out for those planning to go during those theme/group charter cruises. Even the NCL reps on the phone aren't aware of any special events on their ships. I learned on cruise critic.

I’ve been on 4 of these. They are so non sexual. Great cruise and I wouldn’t miss another. My only complaint is the time of year it happens. I wish they did these in March.

My next cruise on the Pearl will be my 13th cruise and it will be a 12 day ABC island cruise with other Caribbean islands as well. I have been on at least 5 different NCL ships.

Do you have a favorite of the Norwegian ships? We will be on the Joy in two weeks. Our first Norwegian cruise. But we’ve been on carnival, Disney, princess, Royal Caribbean, and celebrity.

@@tjfun71 I've been on the Pearl and the Breakaway and the Escape and the Getaway and just recently on the Prima. Never been on the Joy yet mostly because of it's itinerary and home ports. It has all that I like about NCL except the racetrack and slides and kids onboard. After my next cruise on the Pearl I will be a Sapphire latitudes level so I get some perks maxed out except for the free cruise at the next level, but that is 200 points more. Almost 30 more 7 points cruises unless you go in Suites or Haven. I think I enjoy most of the complimentary food except for the MDR strip steak which is nothing like a NY strip. On my next cruise with it being a 12 day cruise in an aft-facing penthouse suite with balcony butler and concierge I added FAS plus so my brother and I will have 7 Specialty dinners for 2. I'll be watching for your video of the NCL Joy to see how it goes for you.

@@rgruenhaus wow that awesome! We are platinum on carnival with perks but we are starting to try other cruise lines. So from this Saturday April 27th through May 4th we will be on carnival jubilee prior to flying to New York to hop on Norwegian Joy may 5th. Going to be a crazy busy two weeks but sad thing is it goes by too fast. We will be putting videos out in order when we return so jubilee will be posted prior to joy. My brother has been on the Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras and a Royal Caribbean ship years ago and booked on Virgin Voyages this winter. I was looking at other cruise line tier matching, but I'm still not seeing a fair comparison to jump ship on NCL. A bar tab is foreign to me when I just need to pay taxes and fees on unlimited drinks premium drink pkg.
