Evening all! Thanks for joining me for another episode, it means a lot… Today we’re back on home soil getting to grips with a smorgasbord of tex-mex goodies that, so far, nobody has yet managed to get the better of. I hope you enjoy it and I’ll catch you again this time next week! *I’m currently traversing the wilds of Ohio so if I’m a little less active in the comments than usual, it’s because I’m trying to film some stuff you’ll like ❤️

It's not the crew is bad, it is your narrating and talking to yourself is a large part of what sets you above. I don't watch others eat but really enjoy your videos.
@ShaleAudio5 ай бұрын
The crew isn't bad, it's the difference in narrative style when he is reacting to himself after-the-fact that makes it feel more consistent or honest. We can all appreciate the "Randy" vs "other" mentality of a food challenge, but attempting it on his own with the associative self-awareness and "challenge" perspective that makes it more enjoyable, IMO.
@r0ninx3phonline5 ай бұрын
@@ShaleAudiodefinitely agree, the videos when he has a crew aren’t bad but I definitely prefer when he’s self deprecating after the fact and just otherwise interacting with people around him naturally.

Oh yeah great point! Now you mention it part of what I enjoy about these is the feeling of the people don't know who he is, and he's unassuming, then surprises everyone! Having a crew takes away from that so more of this style imo!

Hello Beard. Thank you for another great video! At 12:00 you mentioned that "a lot of people don't like the crew videos", and I wanted to take a moment and say that I have enjoyed the interactions/banter between you and the crew. However, I think that part of your success is also due to the fact that the voice overlay not only shows your great sense of humor, but also insight into the experience of the challenge at hand. I do understand that you want to find ways to save time when it comes to editing, and I fully encourage exploring every possibility, including the previous attempts, but I think I agree with a considerable number of viewers that the voice over is a recognizable part of your branding and charm when it comes to your channel over others. For now thank you again, and I look forward to your future videos, crew and all!

We all know that Beard is a top guy from the way he comes across in his videos...but in case you may think its staged/edited or just a persona....I visited the pub in Mcr where he did the huge pie challenge a few months ago. When I got there I recognised the entrance and table where Adam did the challenge and I made a comment about it out loud. The person at the front desk and a waiter who was walking past us at the time both immediately started raving about him and how nice he was to all the staff. Without me asking - they both went on for 10 mins about how he stayed for hours after the filming to drink with them and was just the nicest guy!!! That sort of reaction isn't made up. Makes me wish Beard all the very best of success even more!

I like both, often times there is not enough banter in the videos at all, especially when he is alone, hence the voice overs added to many solo videos. Beard, even if there's an issue with the sound or video quality, I still prefer seeing you record yourself raw on your own without any crew. You also bring a great connection to the restaurant staff, which wouldn't be the same if you were with the crew (my personal opinion) and that makes the episode more enjoyable to watch.
