it certainly looks different but I prefer it as it was. It has now lost it's character and looks like any other modern NCL ship. Restaurants now seem bland and boring without the old themed decor..

The ornate Versailles Restaurant and Showroom still have the old decor but may be remodeled in the near future.

Aside from the buffet Garden Cafe restaurant, we liked the look of the old venues before the refurbishments. Invest money into new comfortable beds, larger flat screen smart TV's in every stateroom, a free onboard messenger app for guests to use, a huge screen showing movies/concerts/events by the pool and a fresher space for the kids/teens program should have taken top priority. This ship now has lost so much charm in it’s decor all in the name of trying to superficially look like all the other recently built ships. All that money spent for this cosmetic “modernization“. What a shame.
