its similar to how we combine words like "going to" to "gonna" and "want to" to "wanna"
@dandyif12 жыл бұрын
@simsspeaker It's actually very common in the Oslo-region (the most populated area in Norway). Or rather... it was very common until very recently. Ppl that move to the Oslo-region often adopt an artificially posh sociolect where these words have no place, and of course they teach that to their children. However, most "natives" to the region use them.

i like when lindy is saying the words and you are moving your lips to say them too:D

@robbieearl Well, there's different dialects, so not everyone can use these. But I use them almost always, when Im just speaking and not thinking about it. Its SO much easier!

Now that explains A LOT! I used to think that e'kke or va'kke (which I heard as "ække", "vakke") was in nynorsk or some dialect :)))

I don't what that last part translates as - but it does sound funny. Saved to favorites. :) STAY AWESOME! :)

@sundhaug92 yes, that's what I am thinking. I still find it funny and it is one of the most interesting aspects to the language. Especially as mobility and communications will impact the dialects.

@Mrelisrael777 You get quite use to it living here lol. Norwegian girls and boys all share similiarities and can almost be catagorized by' type of norwegian' concerning physical appearance. Fortunately for them, this is mostly positive since they, for the most part, have a generally pleasant appearance. It is such where I almost feel like I can tell them apart from the rest of the world, like how one can tell the difference between a chinese and japanese person by their accent.

Det er merkelig. Jeg lærer meg norsk av og til i noen år og har aldri hørt disse 'kke' ordene. It's strange, I've been learning Norwegian on and off for a few years and have never heard these 'kke' words.

That's the funny thing about norwegian language... so "few" native speakers, but they can't really agree how to speak it ;-) I mean, other languages have dialects, but most I know don't go arround dropping or creating genders and stuff, hehe.

I had learned that 'bli' was to be or to become. You said here that it is to stay or to become. I know it has to do with context, but how would you normally use it?

@Crienexzy In English you can't write can't, don't, shouldn't, won't, instead you have to write cannot, do not, should not, will not, but some people write it anyway. It's a crime.
