20:13 - Fashanu's goal was sublime, and brought unto an even higher plane by Davies commentary.

Davies was my favourite commentator. He added to a game and his 'can you believe that' excited tone was not common to be burdensome. His commentary on the Auxerre 1991 game just added to my favourite ever game. Davies, Brian Moore and cricket's Peter West all went to the same school. I thought Hansen's run for Fairclough's goal was fantastic and you wonder why he did not do that every week.

@@randyborstol2491 For me, Davies, Motson, Coleman, Moore and Gerald Sinstat in the 70s/80s were superb. Motson became annoying later on when he got a little bit too hysterical. I couldn't tell you who commentates now. No longer watch football.

Dalglish's running power after he'd scored in the 88th minute, to charge that ball down and barge the defender off which led to Case's goal 😊

Love the fact there’s a Robin Reliant by the corner post 😂. My word how the game has changed.

All the Disability Transport looked like that in those days. They looked really naff just so you knew the driver was disabled. The event would always let a few in on the corners of the game.

Thanks. I think you're right although Terry Mac's goal at Spurs in the FA Cup would also have been a worthy winner.

I always thought John Bond would have made a good England manager.
