Thanks for sharing the info on the Bahco-Belzer tools! Speaking of European manufacturers, I own a PB Swiss flathead screwdriver set, the one with the colored handles. They have a similar tip as the Wiha in this video but additionally their corners are ground 45 degrees so they also fit countersunk heads. I love them, they are great when fixing old hardware.

And not only are the PB Swiss like that but they also manufacture some cheaper ones for Kraftwerk and Garant.

Interesting video, interesting toolset. I only have seen those hollowed tips on PB Swiss-Screwdrivers and I am thinking about such a set since months now. But if I am totally honest, I don`t have to work with a lot of slotted screws. So probably I will be fine with the screwdrivers I already own. Nonetheless I`m really happy to see you back here again. I really like your style of videos. Always kinda fun to hear germans talking english about german tools and been remembered to that when they call brand names oder place names - especially "Remscheid". Finde ich super!

Thank you! Do you have the name of the screwdriver? It seems hard to me to find those. I would like to get one extra for my electronics tool bag. Yeah, I get a lot of comments about my pronunciation and I am not sure if I should change things or stay the way I talk. Regards, Etna.

@@Etna. Afaik most of the slotted screwdrivers of PB Swiss do have that flattened/hollowed parallel tip. Whether it`s the 100 and 102 series with classic grips, the 6100 series with their multicraft grip or their 8100 and 8102 series with the rubberized grips. I do like your pronounciation. Especially in times, where everyone seems to look for their "unique selling point". It´s more like the word "Remscheid" is a difficult one for a non-native speaker, I guess. Insofern kann ich nur sagen: Mach weiter so. Normal kann jeder. Ich finde, genau dieser eigene Stil macht deine Videos aus.

As always top content. Love your new Wiha set. I have these Holex (Hoffmann Group) Screwdrivers, only they are Wiha stamped, but look exactly same. I like them. I also own Vessel soft wood resin non-slip grip featured Japan made set and to be honest they cost 3 times more compared to my Wiha, but are not 3 times better. Now i am hunting for Heyco set. I love their Green Plastic handles. They look awesome.

Thanks! Vessel and Heyco are already on my list. I hope to make a video on those. Rehards, Etna.

Thanks! It was a lucky find. Sadly Wiha seems to discontinue things I love from them. Regards, Etna.

Geniales video wie immer. I like how you get into the history of the brands. I wanted to know if you knew anything about a German brand called ESCHE. I found a wrench while scouting my local flea market.
@Etna.2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I know Esche only as a tooling company. Either it is old great quality or a Chinese piece of crap that wants to look German, would be my two guesses. Regards, Etna.
