I'm 12 days post op and I feel like my nose looks flat in certain lighting and I haven't been able to recognize myself. I agree with you about the healing process, Rhinoplasty is a stressful and difficult recovery especially when you have several concerns. It does get better! I recently had surgery 3 weeks ago and man Im loving my nose as each day goes by! I remember Two years ago I was looking for a surgeon and took me a whole year to find a good one. I found Dr. Aaron Kosins and read about his experience and etc. I was like yess! He’s the one! So then I booked a appointment with him everything went great! But unfortunately I went a different route due to other medical reasons that my insurance end up covering and of course I had to pay separate for my cosmetic procedure. I will still recommend Doctor Aaron Kosins. He sets a great reputation which is a plus!!! Your nose looks great!

Civan LFC Hi there! Try not to stress. I was so unhappy with my nose for about the first 5 1/2 weeks. My swelling was pretty terrible and very uneven at times then suddenly week 6 my nose got so cute! It gets better and better every week! You can see my review for Dr. Vladimir Grigoryants on Real Self. Honestly on day 17 I was still feeling like I had completely ruined my face. Now I’m about 10 weeks out and my only regret is not doing it sooner! Hang in there♥️

My only concern now is that if I’ll need my surgeon (I had my rhinoplasty done by an ENT doctor in Turkey) to prescribe me anything to help with the healing process if it’s necessary. I’m flying back to the UK next Wednesday so I just wanted to make sure that I have the all clear. Did you carry on using creams and sea water/saline sprays after the 2 week mark or did you just leave it be? I also get very bad itches inside my nostrils and it’s very annoying. I think it’s nose hairs that have fallen out and managed to get stuck inside my nose to cause it 😂

I know it’s been a while since you’ve had your surgery. But this video related to me sooo much. I just had my surgery done I’m 8 days post op and we’ve had the same experience so far, you just made me feel a lot better in terms of how the healing process is. My doctor mentioned that I might get a little depressed or experience some “post surgery blues” I guess just because it is a big change and it takes some time getting used to but that it’s perfectly normal. The worst part for me has just been not being able to breathe or smile right my throat gets sooo dry at night and I wake up almost choking. But everyday I notice I’m improving so I’m excited. Your surgeon did an amazing job honestly, you look beautiful!💘

I am getting a rhinoplasty with dr Aaron kosins in 2 weeks. I had it scheduled last dec 2017 however I had a cold sore on my nose and couldn’t have the surgery due to possible complications/infection etc. it was rescheduled for feb 23 2018. I currently have a sinus infection which I’ve been battling for the past week and have been doing my best to feel 100% before my pre-op appt this Thursday. I’m also having a small chin implant put in but my rhinoplasty is a bit more complicated since he also has to straighten my nose as I’ve broken and fractured it in the past. This video that you made and uploaded was such an inspiration to me I cannot thank you enough. I appreciate all the work you put in, the extreme honesty that you presented with your viewers and with yourself...all the emotions you went thru, the good and the bad. It helps me to know what to expect and what to be prepared for. You look absolutely stunning and I hope you feel good in your own skin because you are beautiful inside and out. unknownlove19 I’m sorry that you’re going through it. You definitely have to have a strong willed mind and be 💯 percent confident of your decision but remember that some swelling will still be there for up to a year and changes are happening sometimes your mind just blocks it out

I had rhinoplasty with Dr. kosins as well. At first I was really happy with the results, which people usually react the opposite and freak out because of the swelling. I was so happy my dorsal hump was gone, the tip was a little pig like but I knew it would go down. I’m 6 months post op and I have a small hump on my bridge, and a bump on one of my nostrils. I will soon go to have it checked out. But my nose just seems to be wider and more swollen than it was in the beginning. Ugh idk what happened, I was so happy at first now I feel like I spent so much money on something that I’m not satisfied with. There’s no doubt that Kosins is a great doctor, and has given people wonderful transformations, like he has with this woman. I guess I want to let people know to really do their research and see if a doctor is right for you, ask many questions, ask about your nose skin type, (I have very thick skin) look and see if they have patients with similar cases to yours & their result. Have realistic expectations as well. This was a big investment for me so I’m bummed. I hope he tells me it’s just swelling, I know it takes long for thicker skin to heal, but it’s crazy how the little hump formed. hopefully it can be fixed with steroid shots.

This is the part that FREAKS me OUT!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? They didn’t let me film too much so I wasn’t able to get that part but literally the anesthesiologist came in after I got my mark ups on my face he said he was going to put something in my IV to help me relax. I remember beginning to feel drowsy and saying to my husband okay no more questions - and after that I don’t remember anything at all until woke up in the post op area - but my husband says I was awake while they wheeled me to the surgery room and was saying nonsense to the nurses which I don’t recall at all.

Hey. Thanks for the vid. I got a chin implant and a neck lipo 2 weeks ago. I’m mostly fine, with no significant pain or swelling. However, there is so much tightness, I cannot throw my head back like I used to pre surgery. Is this normal? Did you experience this? Does skin of the neck (or tendons and ligaments) have to stretch? I’m worried scar tissue is forming and restricting full movement. My scar feels stuck and won’t move much. I’m in result, I now have limited range of motion when I want to look up (I can only do about 60%). When I go look up, then there is actual pain, like I’m over-stretching. Will this revolve after some time and if so, how long? or is this abnormal? I’m really concerned and wanted to know if you went through any of this. Let me know. Thanks!

THAETHIRI LYNN No I wasn’t just lucky Dr. Kosins uses a different method in rhinoplasty called piezo surgery where he doesn’t break the bones - whereas most other surgeons do, so that helps with swelling - actually I was one of his patients that got way more swelling compared to others

Around .three weeks for my Brain to finally click that it’s all swelling , but it took around 4 months for most of swelling to go down

How much did your surgery come out too? I need a rhinoplasty as well as a chin implant. All together it’s $8,000 for me to have the nose and chin done. They gave me the option of getting care credit.

just make sure you RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH - specially since its your breathing OMG -really take your time with this and go to someone who specializes in rhinoplasty/septoplasty

Galactic Dreamers I did. My husband for the first Two days and then my grandma was with me for the next Teo days but mostly helping me take care of my Little one. After the first week I was on my own as normal.
