RL Stine is from my city (Columbus, oh)! He wasn’t yet an author during my youth (I’m too old), but I, too, loved “choose your own adventure” books! My kids all read Goosebumps, and loved them. Such a fun video! ☺️🫶🏻🧶

I loved these books as a child as well! Don't remember which ones I read, just that I regularly checked them out at the library 📚 This was a fun idea, never would have guessed the pattern though :') There are so many steps to consider for this, amazing work!

Cute caterpillar. I love this idea. I do have 2 suggestions for you to consider, moving forward though. 1. At the end of the crocheting the item, do a final color 'tree' that is different than the other color(s) you used to indicate what option you went for, that shows the actual pattern. So like on this one you would have the blue tree of what you chose on all sections, a purple tree for the choices you made for the 2nd antennae and then a 3rd color (maybe like black and a thinner line?) that is what the actual pattern was. I think it would be interesting to see like, how close your option tree was to the actual tree, so to speak. 2. For the hook up section, maybe add the # it is so like 'the hook up # 1', 'the hook up #2', etc.. like under the hook? Idk how hard that would be to do but I think it'd look cool. Also, I just want to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. You are very charismatic and you have really unique ideas for videos. I am sure it is a lot of work/time to, not only, do the crocheting and such, but also to edit the videos as well. You do a really good job, they're fun and never boring. So thanks for all you do!

What if instead of choosing round by round, you had to decide between parts? 3 head options, 3 arm options, 3 ear options, etc. Then you wouldn't be guessing what you've done before in a pattern the whole time, trying to back engineer what pattern it is, but creating something new. You could start with a body and then be presented with options, like in the books, and choose what you think works best based on what you've made so far. Like big head, long head, small head. It would be fun!

I love it, I do wonder if there’s a way it could truly be a “choose your own adventure”? Instead of a strict right or wrong perhaps you could choose say a number of legs, or choices between them having a tail, wings or antenna? Although I guess there were definitely wrong choices in the books. Just a thought.
