Hey boo very cool . I was the last of a long line of very poor family since 1929 an before that with the civil war family lost about everything . So by the time I came around 120 years later . There wasn't much extra for toys .my dad worked in the west Texas oil fields . It took all the money to survive . One got to go to school my sister who was 23 years older than me . Being the youngest I started working on a farm when I was about 9 . But we did have a TV to watch an I would really like to see the toy commercials . But the best was the Montgomery and Ward and Sears Christmas catologs . I'd be so tired from work but boy when those catologs came in the mail I could look an dream of other places an worlds . I remember one Christmas my dad was working his normal job for shell oil company an a contract job changing filters on injection water well till four an in the morning . He lived on 3 hours of sleep for 6 months just so we could have a Christmas tree an gifts . Dad picked my gift a BB gun with a scope . It never left my,side an I had a new job to keep the birds out of the fruit trees that way my mother could make enough of jellies to last all year . I like the glasses with the blue lens better there more retro I think I like that look . Peace keep up the great work .
