The United squad of the Fergie era was scary man. Even after Ronaldo left it was stacked with world class players, especially in attacking positions. The firepower was immense. Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, Nani, Young, Park, Giggs, Saha, Chicharito, Owen, Valencia etc. They were all great and interchangeable. What a squad, I hated them as a Chelsea fan, but as a football fan I admired them.

Its just CR7 has done so much that he is criticized for even scoring 30+ goals in a season in 2020 at age 35-36 where most of his teammates can't even get crosses into the D, still performing with the national team better than any other young striker.
