This is the very best vidio of old wirral such great memories I lived in mostyn ave heswall and my mum looked after the evacuee children and many of them came to visit after the war with there parent I left uk in 1959 for canada but made many trips back to beautiful heswall ....thank you for the trip down memories lane 😁😁

Hard to know what to say watching the video - I mean it is really good, but all those memories of shopping in Grange Road at Robbs, or Rushworths & Dreapers, Woolworths, school friends, walking at Raby Mere etc etc just takes my breath away! Great video. Those war time trains were scrapped in the mid 70s not 80s. They went when the Loop Line opened.
