honestly, I wish that Anomaly mod would implement some of the Stalker 2 anomalies. They are kinda cool. Especially because you can use glass shard for defensive advantage. You can see through it, you can't shoot through it and neither can your enemy. Being in the middle of it is like an improvised shelter against grenade fragments.

Great idea, you’re right! But shooting through the glass doesn’t work. Watch how the bolt bounces back-bullets do the same

@@CoalMist that is exactly my point. It's a good protection in a pinch, saved me from a Noontider turned Monolith ambush in a warehouse.

Yeah, i once used it when bandits and bloodsucker attacked me at the same time. I just waited till they fought each other and then killed the winner - bloodsucker - with one shot) it was such a joy)

If you move slow enough you won't take durability damage to your gear. Crouching alone isn't slow enough, but walking and crouch walking are.

You can also use it as a barrier for bullets. Enemies cannot harm you and you cannot harm them if you are inside or behind this anomaly. Except for mutants. They will get through but will get hurt and die eventually (depending on how much health they have). I have tested this with rodents, snorks and boars. Bloodsuckers seem to be smart enough to avoid those spots.

If you have expensive armour than even 1 such slow walk through this anomally can cost you several thousand coupons in repair. So better to avoid it or run through as fast as possible (bandages and medkits are everywhere).

You can't shoot in it, and walk slowly. I did not know about armor damage though...

believe me , the guy has nasty armor because as soon you run trought the glass without a good armor and in the middle of running from bullets or mutants at night.... yeah, it can be scary sometimes

@@diegopereira2934 i must have gotten lucky too then with finding a good armor, im still new and had the same result overall, very little damage, and often when those appear there arent many ways around them when you are close to encumbered or like in my case your sprint just doesnt work at all.

​@@johnlombardo7816 srpinting towards it its a real thing, it can kill you if there are many layers of this anomaly , i remember eating a lot of glass from the middle of the game to the last hahaha, one good think you should know, is that this anomaly also works as a barrier for bullets
