Supermoto riders in the public are way less dangerous than idiots on cars. You don't need much to get a car licence and go out there driving a 1000kg machine that can take out many people and being a idiot on the phone or putting on make up. But a sumo rider doing wheelies must be skilled in riding and focused on the moment, so the chances the rider to make a deadly mistake are quite low. So do what you love and enjoy your life when you still can!

This video needs much more attention. The defamation that stereotypes have in today’s day and age have corrupted the perspectives of those who witness young people on motorcycles, just trying to have fun and make life worth while. This video sets the tone perfectly. Great work.

Pretty much. Find me a report of someone other than the rider or those directly in their group dying or getting injured from a wheelie. Cool. Now, find me a report of how many people get killed or injured from GPS and phone usage in cars. Hm...which one is really the threat to public safety, again?

Most people who bad mouth riders are the same ones who can't be bothered to signal a lane change or check their blind spot. Cagers texting/snapchatting while driving and rolling through stop signs is an epidemic and will only get worse. But let's worry about those hooligans!!
@rrottxn58116 жыл бұрын
You even read my comment? Wikipedia hero
@Seagull7805 жыл бұрын
@ As far as I'm aware it's way higher for motorcycles, the highest I've heard is 35 times more per mile traveled, but a lot of motorcycle accidents are due to shit drivers, people who change lane without indicating, people who change lane without checking their blind spot, people looking at their phone, etc. That's because cars are safer to the driver. The people themselves aren't in that much danger so they don't care. You can say what you want about sumo hooligans, but it they fuck up they're going to face the consequences. A driver checking his phone might kill a motorcyclist because he wasn't able to brake in time, but he himself will be fine.

Motorcyclists tend to pay attention, be alert and look where they're going. As I experience it, the greatest danger on the roads is drivers thinking it's OK to be doing something else when driving. It isn't. Let's start with that.

4:40 i'd really like to see the article that covered the death of ten people due to some guy doing a wheelie. i mean seriously . Just googling death and wheelie in the same sentence only brings up some pakistani squids riding with flip flops. People get so stupid and toxic when it comes to others having more fun than them with their lives. Having knowledge of wheelies and what it takes to do coasters , i now feel safer when a guy wheelies next to me than when a texting lady drives her car anywhere near me.

Sad. When I was a kid, every time I saw a sport bike passing by I loved it and looked up to those guys. Always wanted one when I grew up. When I see a little kid staring from the back window of the car that their parents are driving, I will pop a wheelie to make that kid smile. Idc even if their parents think I'm a bad guy or being "unsafe" . it's a predicted outcome. You study the road conditions before you pop the clutch, you make the decision if it indeed is safe, have a escape plan if something bad was to happen, and you always make sure you have plenty of road lead way to come up, ride it out and come down safely in the amount of road ahead. And last but not least, one good look over your shoulder behind you to make sure there isn't a cop behind you, just for good measure. You give these kids something to dream about, goals, wants and desires. Far better then giving them social media, and Xbox remote or a syringe when they become a teenager.

Riding bikes and stunting is not an as big of deal as they make it seem. Gotta suck in the US where everyone targets everyone just to have something to write about. Here in Sweden we ride sumos like hell, we stunt and ride like we want to. It’s not legal, but we’re not hurting anyone. And we are nor really doing anything wrong. Here it’s kinda socially accepted to ride and you won’t get targeted as a gang or any like that. Here it’s a lifestyle without stupid media interfering! It’s great!

I hate when the media says motorcyclists are putting the public at risk... Only person at risk on a motorcycle is the rider... If a motorcycle and a vehicle crash into one another, I'm pretty sure the driver, or the "public as the media calls it" will walk away unharmed.. The motorcyclists on the other hand may not.. That's the risk we as riders take every time we get on our bike... #bikelifenotacrime #bikesbringbonds

As long as these guys are not eating lights, holding up traffic, speeding... they are harming no one. If they do have an accident they are on their own. A 350lb SM is not going to kill a motorist if they do hit one. Let's face it, they are not drinking, stealing, doping, just doing wheeiles, stoppies, whatever. Let 'em be. Zach, yeeeeah, wrong job to be doing that. Probably should've kept your mouth shut with the reporter.
@mtube6206 жыл бұрын
when there is no victim nor anybody get hurts, there is NO CRIME. Cops are tax collector looking for trouble so to justify their job. Having a sheriff deputy as leader is a plus for the younger riders so they don't go astray in life.
