you guys will be fine... since early Feb of this year, my wife had spinal pinched nerve (herniated disk between the C4/C5), which is awfully painful (worst than giving birth), then a couple of weeks later sicatica, then in the last 2 months she has hip bursitis and then acid reflux!... Thank you God for hearing our prayers as she is slowly recovering.... a move is nothing compared to her pain.... just write down what you are going to need to do with checkpoints... just plan ahead on paper and it will seem a lot more manageable and no surprises

Did anyone see Chynna Philips Baldwin strolling around the park recently? It was surreal. As she did her "two foot boogy" around the park, gobbling the "Word" of God, she spoke of reaching a "low." It was so fascinating to me. At a net worth of roughly 6 million, she waltzed around a park in LA, while a homeless man slept in the park's background during her self-absorbed film, talking about her spiritual transformation or rebirth or some such. In my opinion, the broken gentleman in the background understands a real "low." Mrs. Phillips needs to sharpen her discernment and really get to the heart of the matter. There is a difference between an existential crisis and one where your life is in a crisis or low state due to the absence of food, shelter, and safety. Unlike Mrs. Peanut Butter, Jesus lived a life of humility and never had a song go platinum, except the gift he gave us! I doubt, at the time of his crucifixion, he was worth six million dollars or was selling silly T-shirts. What do you do when your singing career dissects and dismantles itself? What do you do when your mother, a prominent singer for the "Mama and Papas," leaves you with a birthright of excess privilege that the average human being will never experience? You put out a few albums, make some serious coins, tank a solo, and then you "Find Jesus." Returning to Mrs. PB's tilt-a-whirl gyration around the park, she shared that she was "[I]n LA for business." She goes on and on sharing her "religious rhetoric" (R2). Just watching her, I needed some serious spiritual Compazine to regain my footing as a believer and follower of "I AM." I reached out to some of the homeless in LA, former inmates, and I was able to experientially connect with the love of Christ. If you really want to see the love of Christ, go to skid row or volunteer at a local prison. Watching Mrs. PB is (speaking only for me) an utter waste of emotional, cognitive, and spiritual headspace. Fascinating, but tragic, her escort through the park is not "I AM" but her EGO (or as we say in field of recovery... Ease God Out). Although I truly thought her exposition on "spirituality" was lame, my attention was more focused on the homeless man lying on the ground in a coat. I felt deep sorrow and compassion for the gentleman sleeping in the park. As a clinical/forensic psychologist in California, who has worked within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDC-R) with many inmates/clients who have hit REAL LOWS, e.g., absence of food, shelter, and safety, I marvel at the transformative power of JC. I watched Mrs. PB at a writer/friend's request, more for analytical reasons, and I know one thing for certain as a believer--I am so thankful that I am a follower of Jesus Christ and not Chynna Phillips. I find that you have to be more pragmatic about obstacles thrown in our way. Give it up to the Lord, he can handle everything. I was in the 2016 flood in Louisiana and everyone was freaking out and questioned why I wasn't. Well, there was nothing I could do about it, I had given my worries to the Lord and I knew he had our backs. I always take comfort in the fact that He is always with me and protecting me, even when everything seems to be falling apart around me.

None of this moved our Lord off of his throne he's not slapping his knee so shocked we are the ones that are so surprised and kind of bowled over yet if we will not panic if we will lean hard into our Lord and as you've shared pray in the spirit very very powerful! You have all the tools to know His plans are better, even when you're frustrated. 3:08 You mention when we say "Whatever Lord" that He knows it's not what we really mean, but I think it can be what we mean! Our heart posture says a lot about what we are clinging to whether that's worldly comforts or the freedom to walk with Him. And a lot of times those things align, but there are times when He calls us to leave our comforts for something He sees as better - even though it feels uncomfortable to us, He knows, like you said.

I think I know what these feelings are. When you suffer an emotional trauma as a kid, it creates an emotional pit, and just living daily life, can trip you up and you fall into it. Its a temporary trip up, but you eventually climb out and get back on your feet again. People in this situation have an amazing comeback abilities, since they have had practice at it. Its perfectly fine and normal to have the ups and downs, but the instinct to survive, gets us back on our feet. We are strenght and weakness all wrapped in one package. That's our nature.

I was thinking about God today myself. I was remembering my late landlady who passed away and we both went to Church on the Beach in Hawaii. I just moved 3 weeks ago from the apartment complex where the rules were so tough and the mean people who watched and anonymously snitched falsely 😮. Must be sad or troubled people. Now by moving further from the big city, found a large cottage and small perfect size backyard, welcoming neighbors 😊and taking care of many difficult dealings with change of address and exiting the apartment in a nice way. I was moved out of my house to an apartment at the worst time while in school. It turned out to be for the best. My health then deteriorated and I guess God knew I wouldn’t have been able to handle a large house anymore and I did in fact need a smaller space.

I get it. It totally sucks. And yes, sometimes we have to roll with those obnoxious punches. I saw this really cool thing the other day and it was a book and on one side it was our plan and it had one hibiscus flower and on the other side of the book it had God's plan and it had thousands of hibiscus flowers taped onto the book.
