Great video as always Eddie , and love the banter between you and Craig! 🤣 I was thinking about you the other day while walking around Knypersley Pool.. there's some great compositions to be had there, reflections in the lake, woodland all around, wildlife galore, and a hidden waterfall too! It'd probably qualify for one of your "easy walk" videos too 😀 I know it's not Peak District we all love but it's close to Stoke and a great undiscovered place for photographers! That said, so is Biddulph Grange. (Not the grange gardens but the free place 😅) It's a gold mine for compositions. It's right up your street mate 👍 the old woodland there is super special, and you get the place to yourself which is what we all want!! Sorry I'm rambling now haha 😂

I visit Knypersley frequently, it’s a cracking walk. It also has the small waterfall that’s great for anyone practicing their long exposure techniques. Also some very bold squirrels :)

@@EddieSkelson I'd love to see you do a video there! Those squirrels are little rascals 🤣

The KZbin gods (or maybe it's just my crippling nostalgia for Stoke's finest Greggs) keep blessing me with your videos. Eddie, watching you wrestle a camera like it owes you money while grumbling about the weather is pure cinematic gold. It's basically David Attenborough narrating the mating rituals of a particularly disgruntled badger. Speaking of hustle, I saw your Kickstarter... one reward? Come on, Eddie! Where's the Stoke spirit? I was hoping for a signed copy dipped in a puddle of chip shop gravy (it's Stoke, innit?) or maybe a limited edition porcelain figurine of the Apocalypse Cow riding a pigeon. But hey, beggars can't be choosers, right? Anyway, keep up the good work, mate. Here's a fellow Stokie living the dream on the other side of the world. In my spare time, I scale mountaintops and bellow Pratchett quotes at bewildered chickens ("All gods are bastards!") during the occasional typhoon. Hoodies entirely optional, because real Stokies embrace the elements (and pneumonia, apparently). P.S. Check out Eddie's link to his Kickstarter for anyone else who wants to support Stoke's finest photographer (and possible future chicken whisperer): www.kickstarter.com/projects/eddieskelson/eddie-skelson-peak-district-photographer

Eyup Eddie. Years ago (1999-2000 to be precise) I was a student at Cliff College and became very familiar with Curbar Edge, Froggatt Edge and Baslow Edge! In fact we used to sometimes drive to one of them, stand at the Edge in question, and scream at the top of our lungs when things got..shall we say..a little frustrating! 😂😂

THIS actually has some resonance with me. My first trip to the Roaches (as an adult) was due to leaving my workplace one day in a mood that would have resulted in the maiming of colleagues… or at least some man-tears. Being up there, with that wind slicing through me quickly cooled me down.

Did a quick runner back to the car, sorry didn't turn up the other day to pester you we had to cancel the eye test appointment wife wasn't well booked back in for Thursday probably see you then. Got some great cottage info in South Wales magic place.

Excellent! Look forward to seeing you. I’m currently suffering from a thick Cold so my mood is not great. Apologies in advance.

One of the areas for my 5 views in 5 hours plan, definitely loollks like a great spot end it.

Walking from Baslow to Curbar is excellent. The view gradually changes and of course if you have ‘interesting’ weather it can add to the experience.
