Dear Oisin,I've been following you ( in the good sense of the word - not creepy) over the years and read your 3 books 3 times and been through your massive video log more than once as well. In my opinion it's the most important pieces of adventure biking materials available. And just like you stumbled over "The Long Way Around" by coincidence I found your thread on www.advrider.com years back and it has been truly inspiring. thank you for one of the best travelogue motorcycle diaries. the whole series is so well made, and considered. i started watching these 4 years ago and they are still brilliant, i hope someone offers you a tv deal with them, your point of view and sense of humour, particularly in difficult times is an inspiration.

I recently discovered your videos in this immense youtube jungle. I have watched about a third of the videos. I am absolutely amaized with your adventure. I like your honesty and your ability to make us feel as being one meter away from you when you are talking. You are like the guy everyone knows but has never met. In a time without drones and all the modern ware, your videos are a fascinating description of the adventure life can be. Keep going. I could not find any "more" recent stuff though...but I hope new adventures are on the making. Hello from Norway

Hi Oisin, followed your antics years ago when you first put your videos up. Man you crack me up! I've just done 15k through Canada and USA and also BA to Ushuaia and back some years ago. Setting off again in May from the UK to Magadan and am just looking at your videos again to see where you went. Can't wait to get to Mongolia but I think I will time my arrival for a bit later than yours in May. Hope you put up some more vids. I have all your books, keep on riding and inspiring big man!

Really enjoying your epic adventure. Doesn't look like the Mongolian "roads" are much better than when LWR was filmed in 2004. Even just a road grader to take a few swipes at the route would help. Did you bring along much in the line of freeze dried food? And the vast openness of Mongolia and Russia east of the Urals is stunning.

Excellent episode, Oisiín. You've a great gift of the gab (I guess there has to be some compensation for being a ginger :-p), which helps fill in the story around the visuals. Maybe you underestimate your gifts/plusses. Well done. Best wishes. I think you've found your future career. Hopefully you can monitise it nicely, and continue doing what, I presume, you love. Strange how things develop in life, isn't it?

The Exit Plan not for a while - in Ireland there is a new route called the wild atlantic way - apparently its 2500km !! hard to believe on such a small island but I'll give that a bash - i get my bike back today from its service so looking forward to going for a spin - cheers
