4th viewing of this awesome series, I don’t know if it’s the rawness, honesty or what but it just appeals to me the way Oisin portrays it. The Mongolia episodes I think are my favourite, he really gets the loneliness across and the mental side of solo travel. I’m fortunate to travel quite regularly and braved a solo bike trip in the real wilds of Vietnam last year, not the Top Gear route with gap year students. I only scratched the surface of Oisin’s experiences but spending days not being able to have a common language with anyone and realising if you broke down / had an accident you’d be in proper trouble really gives you time to think! That whole, getting the journey done vs enjoying it conundrum was real on a smaller level. Thanks for keeping these videos accessible Oisin. Top man. 👍💪🙏🏼

I think the feeling of dread when you're getting stuck with a heavy bike and all your gear -- and there is no one around to help -- is what keeps so many of us questioning whether we'd even take that risk of riding alone. Thanks for sharing your challenges and successes with us. Great series!

When you first crossed into Mongolia, i think i would have been pretty much done mentally, the thoughts that come to mind would be me stuck there thinking what the hell was i even thinking........
