NOT doing the IOM TT…. Plus DYNO action!!!

A day in the workshop including a look round the factory sp2 that everyone wanted to see then I take my supersport bike to the DYNO and it sounds insane with a power reading also in this vlog.

I'd rather see all these super cool motorcycles than Lees face .. not sure these 'Vloggers" get it.....the video pans by some tricked out factory ride to Neil ...than passes another tricked out works bike back to Lee....Ah NO.... Let Lee do a narrative of what were seeing, goings on .. and keep the camera focused on the cool racing motorcycles .. and not mug shots in indentured slaves to this team owner... hilarious !

I think any motorcycle vlogging is very subjective and open to opinion. I quite like the content and how it’s presented. It would be very easy for him to say ‘oh look, good curve’ and give no figures at all, as so many other racers do, even club racers won’t tell you bhp figures half of the time. My 2010 zx6 made 116bhp and my 2006 Fireblade makes 156bhp, so the R6 making 137 with a race tyre on, and the RC45 making 154bhp add an awful lot of perspective to my own club racing

It is criminal that all road racing in NI is getting cancelled because of the massive increase in insurance costs. What has caused that? Surely there must some sort of legislation that protects certain races - NW200, Ulster GP. These are world renowned road races steeped in history. We should bombard our local (not working) MLAs and demand that this gets sorted. Fire a few emails to Westminster too. I have. I appreciate what Phillip McCallen is saying about how these events are free to view so there is a loss of revenue, well sort that out because I've seen many comments from people who would be happy to pay.

Just check all the information mate the sudden increase could be for another reason ie not having the correct amount of cover previously which would cause an increase and it’s all for legal reasons so has to be sorted correctly. Hope it all gets sorted tho

With the amount of money that the manufacturers throw into the development of these new high end machines, split between the manufacturers themselves the insurance cost is fractional, maybe the teams themselves, ie, honda, bmw kawasaki, put up the fee to promote the8r race machines, after all, the riders are all promoting the gear...

I know you like riding the Aprilia so I really hope the weight savings and engine work makes it more competitive at the TT this year. Those Patons are bloody quick but I hope the 660 can grow the legs to compete. Would be mega to see you win it. Rumours has it that the real reason for the cancellation is not just insurance costs but a lot of conflicts and unrest between the organisers, sponsors etc. When I heard the figure of 400k for the NW I thought its not that bad considering what revenue would be earned by tourism and the rest.

What's going on with the SP-2, looks like a beefed up SP -1 swing arm, and forward facing rad! Honda homologated a new swing arm on the SP-2 it was one of the main difference and bigger throttle bodies 🤔 I might be wrong!

Hi Lee just bought last week an SP2 made changed to susspension wheels brakes etc. I f you have a mint set of ORM pipes from that Honda let me know. One other question I am about to look at putting after market pipes in it. I ha e been told that they get a flat spot between 8 and 9k. Wpuld you suggest a power commander and re map any other option thanks.

Hi mark so there all different but I’ll use the 600 for an example it gets a small rebuild at 1500km and a large rebuild a 3000k so By the time that new motor is at 3k it cost me around £15,000 which makes it the most expensive in the class
